Good to get out for a bit. But back in. With the heat up in the 90's it is unhealthy for anyone. While you were out, did you notice how your tomatoes are doing? We are starting to get cucumbers but no plans for pickling. Upstairs isn't interested in pickles.

Crazy hot out for sure. AC had a 2 day break but likely will be back on in the bedroom tonight. Maybe not, but it is almost 8pm and still over 90 degrees .

I did 2 cucumber plants last year for the first time. I had sooooooo many cukes, it was crazy good :)

This year, no cukes but have 5 tomato plants that are doing very well. One that I bought with a good head start has 4-5 tomatoes. One is getting really big, waiting on it to start ripening . That is a "Big Boy" first time with this type.

The "Better Boy" and Roma plants have a few small ones starting. The Yellow Cherry plants have yet to show anything beyon a few flowers yet-soon though.

All are Bonnie Brand and seem to be doing well with the re-potting and organic fertilizer my honey used. Hopefully they stay well.

Well, 2nd physical therapy session today. Therapist is sure I have a C7 issue and a very low on the back disk. I dont remember which one or maybe a few. Specific stretches for the neck and back are on my agenda 3 times a day. After just 3 days of some basic stretches have made some minor improvement in my neck. Not bad for a few days.

Today she finished evaluating my lower back and changed the stretching routine for that after doing so. She also worked the heck out of the C7 disk-that hurt like hell but felt better with more motion when done. I am OK with the painful treatment if it helps.

I asked if what she was doing was anything like chiropractor. No quite as she said there are 5 levels of treatment. She does level 1-4 and stops short of level 5. Level 5 is what the chiropractor would do-the final cracking treatment. That may be in my future and she will let me know if it will help, but not yet. Right now, it is slow movement but pushing it as far as I can and then a bit more.

Too muggy for me. Sweltering even in the shade and my beer no stay cold very long!! I swear I'm melting............. This is tough on what I've got. Don't regulate like I normally did. Humidity seems to beat the crap out of me lately. And we got a few more days to endure before it settles back down. Blah!!

We put in a chit load this year and gonna try making dill pickles from some of the bigger ones. We just got our first couple last week. O' so Tastey!! To save space we plant near the wire fence and train them to travel up it. No bending to fetch them and can see them much easier. Only bummer is getting them off once them go dormant. Buggers got strong spirals that wrap hold of the fencing. Nearly pull down the fence getting them to let go!! Usually end up on my can a time or 2. Wifey gets her giggles until its her turn! :p

Got 20 mater plants, But none are even close yet. Can't wait for a fresh garden mater!! We fight over who gets it. Unless I sneak it before them lazy ones get outta bed!! :D

How well I know that one. I know you will press on and recover much of what you have lost. It is being persistent and having determination that leads you out of this, one step at a time.

Got the mowing done right at 10 AM. Only 78* at the time but high humidity so I was sweating bullets even though I was mostly in the shade. All my clothes were soaked - and we haven't seen rain for quite some time! Ran cool water over my arms and face, changed out to shorts and had a popsicle for breakfast (along with plenty of water). Will hit a cool shower soon (I just took a shower before going out to mow :jaw:) and then load up to head for the dump. After that? maybe a nap under the ceiling fan :dennis: as the temps climb to the 90's again. Actually just now starting to get a bit hungry, so maybe some cold yogurt first.

I keep toying with the idea of getting a portable air conditioner. but got a couple of window fans instead; they get the house a lot cooler overnight than just the ceiling fans could do.

Strokes are no dammed fun for sure.

The only thing I can say good about mine was it was painless.
Had just crawled into bed and my right hand arm quit working.
