I looked at the weather this morning and it was colder in Atlanta, GA than it was at my house. Not really uncommon with Lake Michigan warming things up for us. It was in the 30s in Wisconsin and 43 here this morning. Still haven't had first frost this season.

Winding down for the evening, going on 9pm. Dear daughter is asleep. Dear husband turned on a silly movie where high school buddies went back in time via a hot tub. How funny I know the words to every 80's song in the movie... I can't find common words sometimes but bless I know the darn lyrics from high school? ! ? :thumbs:

We get a similar effect from the little lake we live on. Not quite the same, But we tend to be a little warmer if the wind is blowing at us off the lake until the water temp drops. But luckily we don't get the lake effect snow like a large lake can throw at ya!

Pretty chilly this morning, Stove fired sometime over night as the house was toasty this AM. First morning in a while I didn't need to turn on the electric heat in the bathroom to warm it up so I could shower!! I turned the stat back to off, As its supposed to warm up today. Hope I remember to turn it back on before I sack out tonight!!

We did a round of leaf's yesterday and ya couldn't tell this morning! Did I mention I hate leaf's??

Sooo, I set up the thermostat last night to avoid the chilly house this morning. Well, I programmed the time wrong. House was 61 and the stove wasn't gonna come on till an hour after we woke up. Cranked it up and house was 67 when I got out of the shower and before the wife came down stairs. Phew

Be careful she also has a supply of 15# tent stake drivers and was mumbling something about cell phones.

Why is that when you tell the boss to send a simple text like hi they decide to write war and peace and send pictures with it. I just wanted to make certain the damm cell phone could send and receive a simple text.

She finally has a working cell phone (at least it appears to work) again. This was the second replacement phone.

Now I have to figure out what all of the old settings were (I didn't set it up the first time).

It is genetic. You can't change it, and growning will only get you a cold supper, worse yet, take out. Just smile, "thanks dear", fix it and enjoy desert!
