Great price on that. I have a Seagate unit which I like a lot, but it would be about $30 more. Works great with the Mac "Time Machine" backup system.

Enjoying having the stove off and being outside.

Finished up the stove overhaul project (for now) and tomorrow it's time to service the Mahindra tractor and get the 3 point mower hooked up and go after some tall grass around here.

Stuff will be up to my chin soon :bug:

    That time of year again.

Pretty soon the stoves will be silent sentinels in the corner, at least for a few months anyway.

Will give me time to service them up good.

That's true Larry, but it's one bad-azz looking fishing reel ! (Glad to read the external HD info helped!)

That's a NICE looking reel JT - those big ol' fish don't stand a chance !

Hood strut replacement on the Taurus = relatively painless 10 minute job - it took longer to find a suitable 2x4 to prop up the hood securely than to change out the lift supports.. *2 metal cir-clip bands on the lift support 'lock' the support to the ball stud, you use a small screwdriver (or small pick tool) to pop that cir-clip band off the old support, then just push the new support onto the pivot ball (it already has new cir-clips installed). Easy!

So then I figure I'll check under the hood of the '00 Camry.. You guessed it, hood lift supports are completely shot on that vehicle also. :picard: Ordered up some more replacements from Amazon, s/b in next week.

Work sucks. :D :pete: (Guess where I am.)

Well digging in the dirt today, have to replace one of the raised beds because of wood rot. End up doing one each year. Had a beer, and a geezer nap. Nice easy Saturday.

Did a little rearranging in the basement today. Stacked the bigheat leftovers against the wall and moved 25 bags of stove chow down that were kind of in the way in the shop.

Mahindra MAX 22 4x4 all serviced and the 3 point mower hooked up and serviced as well.

Spent 2 hours in the saddle after getting oily.

Taking a breather for a few.

One of my clients who boards a horse is gonna saddle up Li'll Red and go for a while.

Rather be fooling with a stove

    Couple pix of Li''ll Red

Best little rig we have owned.

Perfect size to get in and around stuff.

Bucket is a tad small for serious work, but is useful.

    Gotta head to town.

    Enjoying the weather

We decided roll back the clock and act like we were young. :BrianK:

Made a picnic basket with wine, smoked cheese, and dried meat. Put the canopy and an old round charcoal grill into the Burb. Took a ride to a little pond we know but have not visited in maybe 20 years.

Pitched the canopy, started a small but cozy wood fire in the grill and enjoyed a picnic away from everything.

It was pouring rain and the air was cold and damp. We walked along the bank and skipped some rocks. Got back to the canopy and stoked the fire. Enjoyed a bottle of wine, the cheese, and dried meat while we warmed ourselves by the campfire. :fire:

A very rejuvenating day for both us and for us.

Dear Husband splurged on what was back in that day an ultralight rod and reel, wow, the countless trips, rivers, states, fish and memories he has with that particular reel are priceless!
