i was planning on canoeing tomorrow, as it will likely be above 60 degrees.
but i also need to set some stones at the bottom of the drive where it's disintegrating.
    first things first.
i didn't have the motivation to do anything today.

Same here Snowy, Got the slider and windows open airing the shack out. My son and I got them 4 letter word tires off the caaaa and put on the summer's. Changed the oil in it too. Pulled the winta cover off the boat for the last time.

Tomorrow we'll mend the back fence and get the boat a good wash as its supposed to be near 70ºF! Might do a little cook out for dinner.

Decided to pick up the front rotors for the truck today and got 1 side done late afternoon as well as rotated tires on that side. Losing sun and getting chilly means the other side can wait til tomorrow.

Time to fire up the BGE and get some stuffed pork tenderloin cooking. :grizz:

I cleaned the P61 this morning, including performing LBT. Went for a break-in ride after the long winter off the bike. Rode a familiar route (was close to your place CleanFire on my way home) which is about 2 hours (with a 10 minute break) and just under 100 miles. Was supposed to get in the 60's, but never got above 56 at my place and went thru much cooler areas plus there was a bit of a cool breeze. The little Granite Gorge ski area still has snow along the trail that comes down to the road I was on. Still, good to get out on the bike. Supposed to be warm again tomorrow, so will probably go out for a couple hours then too.

Finished replacing the front rotors and rotating tires on the truck-no more pulsating at slow speeds and big time vibrations at highway speed when applying the brakes lightly-nice and smooth now

Using a little anti-seize on all bolts a year and a half ago when I replaced the pads made it so much easier to get everything apart this time....nothing was frozen or even difficult at all to remove.

This tube has lasted me many many years-a little goes a long way.

they used to say that about ....Brill Cream... a little dab will do ya! :rofl: :rofl:

we tested out our fall replacement of the sawdust remover on the sawmill. the old homemade 24/1 right angle drive unit was throwing the flat belt constantly and did not really have a means of lubrication. so we swapped it out for a new one 16/1, and re-crowned the flat belt pulley. works mint!

set-up footings for 5 piers on the rear shed roof of the building and called the foundation guy. 22 yards of concrete coming thursday. steady progress!

Fixed the back fence, Had to replace 2 sections for now. Whole dang thing needs replacing now that we see how bad it really is. Not much funds in the kitty so the rest will need to wait a bit.......

Got some more stuff in the boat while the wifey was spreading mulch. Cleaned out some of the storage area's and washed out the live wells. One more nite of cleaning and she's ready to get all the gear stuffed back in now that it looks like no more below freezin nights ahead!! ;)

I had to go to the big city of Augusta today and was in the area of HD so I decided to swing by. Not surprisingly there are still 8 tons of pellets out back with sold labels on them :)rofl: ) and at least another 15 tons in their main storage yard. They should be aged nicely by fall.

Very nice Will. We spent most of the weekend getting the yard cleaned up. We got a lot done and boy are we tired now. This afternoon we got out the deck furniture and placed an order for replacement grill parts. Should be here so we can cook up a bbq next weekend!

Outside all day cleaning on my latest stove acquisition.

Filthy dirty and just plain nasty all over, but the metal is straight.

Now it is getting clean and I'm filthy dirty.

Between buffing off the old paint, dirt and cleaning GAWD knows how many years of ashes out of it, I AM TIRED.

Strange to blow out the hot air chamber and have pellets fly out the air tubes o_O

Ahhh well, never know what lurks inside a used pellet stove.

Trying some of the PERMATEX rust killer.

    Seems to work great.

Clean off the metal with the power brush and spray with the stuff and within a few minutes it turns flat black.

    Kills the rust dead.

Did a recycle run, worked on cleaning up part of the flower garden. Then we went into the big city of Portland and attended a rather large Alumni group event honoring two former faculty members both of whom served the school of music for 36 years. Heard one hell of a concert.
