UGH.....sitting here at work after eating a yogurt and hard boiled egg.....got a plum for later. At least its sunny, but cool, windy. A week from today, I am in Roatan, where its expected to be partly cloudy today, and 88 degrees. The only thing that keeps me going! :D

No! I am hoping for more snow, lots of cold weather, starting on Sunday the 17th! Would it help if I (maybe) thought of you guys (and girls!) while I am snorkeling in the 70 degree water and getting tan?

Nice deck , don't like that white chit it's covered with :hair:

I would rather see a table with some smoothies on it , and a grill cooking some meat

Well, this past week saw some interesting weather flip flops, the boss and I did a bit of upper level yard work and I got some of the deck furniture set out. I suppose I need to attend to uncle Sam and auntie LePage and file our income tax returns. Maybe I can make this one of the last such filings. I got sick of filling out forms for the gubmint many years ago. For the current time, I'm done giving lessons to the support folks I've been dealing with since back the first of February. I'm turning my attention to TWC to see if I can get them to be faster in pushing firmware updates out to the DOCSIS 3.0 equipment attached to their networks.

Here is the furthest I've pushed my C6300:

    ReadyDLNA status
    Audio files: 6722
    Video files: 355
    Image files: 2791

I now have enough freedom to continue editing and loading up more Old Time Radio Shows.

I had to employ the services of my good freind Perl so I can keep a directory structure I can find things in and send a directory structure to the C6300 of numbers to reduce the memory footprint produced by the DNLA server in the C6300.

Hey, I always liked 0/0/0/0.mp3, whatever that is?

Grass is starting to green, but no flowers yet. Well, except the crazy English Primrose that were blooming all winter. They seem to be happy as long as it isn't in the negative digits. Too bad they are more the height of a ground cover so can't see the blooms unless you are right next to them.

Oh, and the snow is coming tonight.

I'm here at home fooling with stoves and we had 86 F Thursday, 82 F Friday then 59 F Saturday.

The other half went to Vegas with some buds to check out the sights and they are getting doused with heavy rain and flash floods.
Cold (for them ) and really wet.

So here I sit chuckling at home where at least we are not floating away.

Flying to the desert to watch floods, hmmmmmmm:picard:

Just gave the P43 a quick brush-down on the inside (back, sides and across the air wash - not the baffles though). Cleaned the igniter area and thought I would empty the ash pan. Nope, doesn't have much from the last 2 weeks that I've been burning mainly Cubex, so I left it alone. Cleaned the glass and flipped it back to on.

Waiting for the P61 to run its cycle. IT will need the ash pan emptied after 2 weeks as I've been running mainly ThermaGlo's. That one will need everything cleaned except the pipe itself.

Primrose blooming - no, I haven't cleaned up my gardens yet

This primrose is more exposed to wind and it seems the leaves really didn't like the -21F temp a couple of months ago. But, it is looking much better than it did, and is starting to flower

Cleared a nasty blockage at my honeys place today. Lucky for her she went to the in-law apartment in the basement last night to use the bathroom and found the nasty chit backing up into the shower and toilet. 10:30PM so nothing to do about it then, except let it leach the liquid down and leave the nasty chit behind for the next day

They have a high water table and she thought that might be the issue, but nope. Blockage somewhere-and I was pretty darn sure it was paper related

    LUCKILY.......

    I commiserate.
Similar but different here. Takes me over an hour to get the dishwasher loaded because of my breaks to rest. Same with cleaning the pellet stove. :hair:
I am sorry about the canoe, and thrilled you two are getting along ok, that is very big and fortunate deal!!
