had a nice brunch with some new and some old friends. my wife made terrific deviled eggs, dyed all sorts of Easter colors, there were lots of appetizers and bloody mary's, followed by sausage, bacon, eggs, Reuben quiche, green salad, lamb stew, some other quiche, fruit salad, potato perogies.... and more. I ate GOOD!:drool::drool::flipeggs::beerbbq:

Dinner will be light fare... leftover pizza from yesterday and some carrot cake. and wine, of course!:drunk:

Well, it's been 23 years since we moved into this place, and it is now time for a new roof.

Had a few contractors out over the past few days giving us bids on doing the job.

Got a great bid from a small company the other day and it looks good.

$10 K to redo the entire roof with top quality materials.

Was not really planning on a roof, but we have had a couple small leaks that were fixed and after looking over the roof myself, Ahhhh it is time.

They figured out a way to make JT pay thousands of dollars to catch the same type fish that you caught in 1907 with a worm you found under a rock!!

You guys would never understand.

Bass eat worms, But crash swim baits and jerk baits that about rip the rod outta your hand. Then there's the top water bite or when you flip the frog in the pads!

I don't need any aggressive bass knocking the beer out of my hand while fishing. I use worms.

Not sure what you are saying but I get it. When I used to fish, WWW would rig up a pole for me, (he chose different lures/flys according to the area and fish), quick instructions on how fast to reel and when to give the extra lil pops on the pole to attract the fish to whatever lure he chose. I would follow him around the lake/pond/river to work the good spots he chose, too much fun!! Again, not with you on your jargon, but I have seen one like you in action, for sure you are  And have taught Joey well! Joey is  now too:)

The jargon is the type of lures we use and the technique. And Its the fun in how the fish strikes the lure. Crash is the unexpected explosion when they try to kill it. You know its gonna happen, But still startles you!! :D But you get it!!

We don't use live bait or nightcrawlers. Too easy and not much fun. I'd just go take a nap! Using imitations and fooling em into biting is! ;)
