How much do the dealers pay you to instill the panic factor?

Well I talked to a pellet seller today (noticed they didn't have their signs up) and was told that they were already having issues getting product. I think that there are a lot more places selling them and what supply there is gets spread all over the place.

I always have pellets, but some of the places that sell them run out it is the push the seasons craze that usually does it around here. You know back to school in July, BBQ stuff the day after Christmas, Christmas before Halloween, and so forth.

I checked Lowes yesterday. They had several tons of pellets, all marked sold. There was an open ton of Maine Choice.
That was being sold by the bag only. No military discount. Then there were some Green........ @ 289 a ton. Military discount available and free delivery for 3 or more tons. Every one of those box stores is doing their own thing.

Greene Team is Lowes "house" pellet. A decent hot pellet but a little ashy back when I burned them. They were selling at the price of all box store pellets but Lowes jacked the price. I've boycotted Lowes since.

Green, Could also be Green Supreme(AKA NEWP in a boxstore bag) as my local Lowes is loaded with em!

Ahh, The days of cheap Greene Teams. Miss them as they were a decent pellet for a boxstore deal!! :(

Nothin bud, Me do it for free!! :p

Seriously, Both LW and DM have told us to fill up before chit happens. May not be in all area's, But some may have limited supply. My area had dealers with skimpy supplies from the get go. Box stores seemed OK, But not a great selection as we're used to seeing. New England may already be in the crunch???? See these sites and look at how many are out of stock/sold out!!

I don't want to wait for the rest of our stash, but we have to for the trailer, my husbands company is so busy right now the trailer is always in use.
I have room to store them and $$ to buy them, not able to get them here or stack them. Dear husband is traveling this time of year and nursing his back as well from installing the pellet stove...... About to post a craigslist ad, but the last guy I hired to help on the outside turned out to felon that did his time for murder....Any suggestions?

Ask your mailman if they know someone who could help or what about the contractor that has been working on your home?

Fantastic idea! Lol, the contractor borrows said trailer that it in constant use for a few months... And my mailbox is 8 miles away. I do know my UPS :ups:driver and will ask him!

Against my husbands better judgement I placed a craigslist ad :picard:

I truly believe its more of a regional factor, of which we are ground zero.

You cant argue when you pull into a pellet yard, and their inventory resembles January, and its still September o_O

Already got a hit on Craigslist, appears to be a nice kid. Quick google pulled up him and his wife registered at BabysRus for baby shower registry. Will go for it:rootintootin:, but he only wants $60 including gas, frankly that doesnt seem like much for all the work?
