Love the Spring ahead time change. Plenty of sunlight after work to actually do stuff outside.

Although my kids will be total disasters for a week or so until they adjust.

Spent today taking the snow tires off the car. never needed once. mothballed the snowblower and stored it in the shed in the back. cleaned up outside. dug out my little charcoal grill and my wife and I bbq'ed. dog went nuts over it, like he was waiting for it all winter long.
Tried out my new tiller on the garden. the new rear tine is so much faster than my previous weed wacker attachment. The soil looks great. most of the chopped leaves i mixed in last year has broken down. Lots of worms already.
Unwrapped my fig tree. It seems to have survived well under all that burlap and blankets and tarps. It does have some white fuzzy fungus on the branches that i have to monitor. Im hoping that when the sun and fresh air hit it, the fungus goes away. if not i might have to clip some of the affected branches.

wanted to put the deck back on the mower today too but it was starting to get a bit chilly so i'll put it off for another day. wont have to mow for a while anyway.

OK, so a new strip mall is being built near me and one of the anchor stores is Hobby Lobby. I was getting excited to finally have a hobby shop closer than an hours drive.

Man I was really looking forward to this place until just now when I checked their website.... #%!@&#!!:mad::mad:

Hobby Lobby Arts & Crafts Stores

There is a freaking Michaels 3 minutes away and a Ben Franklin Craft store 5 minutes from this new location but no hobby shops within 75 miles. :headbang:

There is a Hobby Lobby in Auburn that I've been into once, it has a little of everything and access to a lot. Don't be fooled by that homepage.
