I'm in basicly a ranch it has a walk out basement and garage (pellets are stored here) under.

My den and stove room along with a laundry area in a half bath is on the bottom floor. The den was the third bedroom. The boss got the second bedroom as a sewing room, it doubles as a guest bedroom.

I've come to accept the fact that cold is on the way. I called Fahrenheit today and ordered the parts I need (gaskets just to have and a top burn plate for the pot assembly). The upper burn plate was marginal last season, and there isn't much hope of it surviving another season.

Once the parts arrive I'll put together a thread on how to remove the 'first generation' burn pot assemblies and reassemble.

It is hot, hot, hot, not, not, not, pulled the plugs out of the combustion air system today. Might be able to test the repair job without being driven from the den by the weekend another and colder air mass is coming.

A blanky, my wife is a quilter, we have many, many quilts and could likely crush the sturdiest pig if we piled them on. Be a warm crushed oinker for sure.

My wife would probably love one. Please don't tell you wife NOT to send info on them. I'm still suffering from the tips she gave my wife on that super skillet(AKA lights out).

Fire is going. Cranking out the heat. I'll only have it on for a few hours. Makes the family room really comfy.

I finished cutting the top out and cleaning out the barrels that I'm storing corn in. Talked to the neighbor, and am going to borrow his wagon and bring a load of corn home tomorrow. Gonna shoot for about 2800 lbs of corn. Should get me through a month or two, especially burning a few of the Somersets that I have stashed away. Just need to get the SCF 050 installed, and I'll be ready.

Well, after I finish air sealing the attic, and the basement, and paint the shutters, and move some trees, and plant some bulbs, and plastic on the windows and...crap. Hope the snow holds off for awhile...
