Broncos Hoping for no theatrics from Mr. Newton and great defense and great last game ( perhaps ) from Peyton.

With so many cameras: 62 you would think instant replay would be able to give you a 360 degree look at every questionable play. Perhaps we will see the levitating coin flip again.

I'll be headin' over to the SB party in a little bit. It'll be good to see some old friends, drink a lot of smoothies, play some cards, eat, and enjoy the game w/o having to bite nails over who wins. But, I would like Payton to go out a winner. The other team & QB are just too cocky.

Another good score! Wives might be moody today but at least the cheap pellets put a bit of a smile on our faces :D

We lost power around 2:00pm Friday. The snow was so wet and heavy it did a job on the trees throughout eastern CT. Went to get the generator ready and found it was toast. Not good. Pulled out the P43 and installed one of the old wood stoves in it's place. Stopped by my dad's place yesterday afternoon and picked up his generator, brought it home, tried to get the P68 up and running but it was not a pretty scene. Every moving part in the stove sounded like it was screaming in pain when running on the generator, so that was short lived. I was afraid it was going to fry, so backed out of that plan about 2 mins in. At least we were able to power the refrigerators and a couple lights. Anyway, the wood stove was enough to get us through until 5:00am this morning when the power finally came back. Bad timing for this outage, Friday night was 12 degrees and Saturday night was 17 degrees. We were lucky enough to have the wood stove option, but I know not everyone was. Tell you what, burning the wood stove again has given me renewed appreciation for the pellet stoves. I had forgotten exactly how much attention and frequent feeding that thing needs! Not going to get caught like this again, I ordered one of those Champion 3100W inverter generators so next time we will be more prepared, and hopefully can run the pellet stove(s) with it.

Well I'll let you know how this one does. Should be arriving on Wed and I'm going to be like a kid in a Candy store when it does. I will pull the wood stove back out, put the P43 back in, and run it with the new genny for the break-in period. Can't wait, actually.

Oh and something else funny that happened when running on the generator last night. We have an electric hot water kettle, so I figured I would make a cup of tea. When I turned that thing on, you should have heard the hurtin it put on the generator! I guess anything with a heating coil in it will do that, but it was amazing to hear the stress it caused!

I grabbed 12 bags of Stove Chow to try today as well!! They are $199 a ton!! Probably gonna buy 6 ton of them this week if they are good this year.

Has anyone burned any Chows this year? How did they fair? Are they still a good pellet fir the money? It's been 2 years since I burned any.

Clean Energy's from last year are probably the best pellet I have burned. I still have a bag of Lacrete's to put up against them, but I've been holding off on burning them until it gets cold.
