probably 10 or 12 inches of wet heavy snow at the house, which is 550 feet higher in elevation than the shop in rocky Hill. snowblower worked well, i only had to clean out the ice once to get it going. NO HAND JOBS!!!!

had a call from a fellow in Washington state who has 4 NOS cylinders, pistons, and rings for the 1928 Atlas Imperial engine I'm working on. unbelievable! and the price will be right, by what i'm hearing. This is the oldest engine i ever worked on, and i was concerned about finding parts... i'm still stunned to find them! look on Atlas Diesel Found in old Connecticut Factory - Page 8 - SmokStak to see the project:dancer::banana::banana::dancer::singingintherain:

I'm getting leftovers from last night. The boss said something about feeding the bear some turkey pie. We had planed on going out after running the errands today but the storm put an end to that. Might do the errand tomorrow if I can get my act in gear, will have to clean the snow up first.

Just got done snow blowing. That was fun.

Blower did start first pull and felt strong. Hopefully I won't see it again for a long time.

The newer models of your stove had their air intake increased to 4" you know about it because it was discussed when you brought up when Drolet mentioned your altitude situation. I'm just a wild critter from the sticks of Maine and know absolutely nothing about your stove and set up, or for that matter anything and am trying to forget more than I ever knew. I'm retired and trying to go backwards.

The air flow doesn't just allow the pellets to burn but to burn correctly and eject the ash so things don't backup in the burn pot and elsewhere. This has been hashed out about your particular situation and many other situations that come up on here over, and over, and over ... repeat until you can't say it again and then again. He double L I don't even like where you have the end of your OAK.

You no getty a likey for that, don't want to see the mess until morning, drinking a hot coffee and shortly will get a bag of pellets for the stove. I might give it a better cleaning than last week when I dumped the burn pot because the stove wouldn't light, seems that with a blocked air flow it just didn't get hot enough to light off. Funny that.
