My dad keeps asking me, if he should get there car painted, and I do not know what to tell him, so I figured I would ask the car guys and see what they think. I worked on cars for a short time but I know nothing about body shop work!

There is a new thread started on old TV shows. I recentky started watching Welcome Back Kotter re runs and wasn't sure if it would still be funny. Some shows just dont hold up but this one does (for me at least), I forgot how funny Travolta was in this show

I worked at a GM garage for 18+ years. I have been a maintenance mechanic now for 1.5 years.

I had a crush on Kotter as a kid, and Travolta when older. Kinda sad to see he looks odd with his facelift :wacky:

First time I've had a paved driveway since I left my folks' house in 1980.

Our driveway here (3 years) is the first time we've ever spent a dime on paved maintenance. Quite a shock. Lived on dirt roads for 29 years before. Had to have this drive re-paved last year as it was falling apart. I'd have just buried it with good gravel to save $$... but my honey would have been ... :hair: ... she's had enough gravel roads...... I'd have to admit, mud season is a little easier to take now...

Yeah, by the looks of other low areas on my property my driveway would be mud most of the season, even in relatively dry years like this on, if it wasn't paved. Would make it really difficult to back the bike up the 50 ft to the garage!

    :)

My driveway is a hill, backing up the bike would be a royal PITA. I prefer backing out of the garage and turning around.
