Made some calls today, looks like $40 - $50 per rim, condition "A" .. Still scouring CL for a better deal.

Today was a top 10 December day here, 48 F and sunny..

Went to check the oil level in the tank, found water leaking from the drain line under the kitchen sink. Sure, like I didn't have anything better to do.. :picard:

So back down to the basement/crawl space, aka 'The Dungeon' and spent the day replacing drain pipe run from the kitchen sink / dishwasher -> back towards the stack.

Previous line was 1 1/2" DW copper pipe, 37+ years old (original to home), and paper-thin in the first 4 feet of the run - it was just plain worn out.

To hookup to the existing copper pipe, had to use 1 1/4" DW PVC for the new run, and a 1 1/2" rubber adapter boot that clamps around each pipe side (old copper and new PVC) .. Worked out nice, first time using one of those.

Got the sink hooked back up, 10 feet of old junky copper pipe out, another 16 feet or so to go back to the stack..

Need more PVC pipe, plumbers putty, and Beer.

After looking at mattresses for months, I bought one of these a year and a half ago. I research purchases way too much and drive myself crazy before spending $$, plus I didnt really want to spend this much but after looking and trying for sooo freaking long, this one was IT as soon as I tried it in the store.

Any thought of the cost was gone on the first night sleep (although I did pay less than this place is charging) plus the older I get the more I realize that there are a few things that need to be "right" and a good night sleep is high on the list.

Certainly was. To bad I had to spend the day inside workin!! :tears:

Enjoyed lunch on the picnic table. Wish for a brew, But had to wait until I got home. Sat on the deck and watched the sun go down when I finally got to enjoy one!! Hoping tomorrow is the same. ;)

yea, I am all ready for sn*w, and we get this....all the leaves are raked, hoses put away, sillcocks drained, new lawnmover battery removed and stored, flowerbeds raked out, all Christmas presents bought and wrapped (that's why I have a girlfriend, she likes wrapping them), pellets stored, brush piles built, new 4x4 and plow bought, and now we get weather in the 60's........

We have had our sleep number for about 10 years. I recently put on a new motor, a 4 in. memory foam topper and a new cover. Couple hundred bucks and it is like new. Adding the memory foam was a real addition. Good luck with the change.

Ive looked at them....Mom and Dad have one, but I couldn't swing the cost....my mattress is pretty sad, but there's other things I needed more. Is the fact that the mattress is split in the middle much of an issue? I have a King Sized unit, and understand they put two twins together to get that......

Doesnt 60 degrees in mid December void the list? At least for the day..... I would suggest hiding the :heidi: though ;)
