    Yes she is !

Nursing school was tough-I cant believe the things they need to know. She started the nursing program after taking all the per-requisites with a very high GPA and that was very important to her. By the end of the 2 year nursing program, it was more "I dont care as long as I pass!" She was putting in at least 40 hours a week into studying and papers on top of classes and clinicals- that is no exaggeration. Damdest thing is they have to take a new exam at the beginning of each semester and if they dont pass that entrance exam they are out of the program. This particular school prides itself on high percentage of grads passing the RN License exam so they are like Gestapo in drumming students out. But their nursing grads are also very highly regarded so i guess its a win for the grads.

No fire during the night, but we did fire it up this morning. Doesn't take long now to bring us up to a comfortable temp. The wife really likes that new stove. I had a half ton left over, but she is cutting that down "taking the chill out" . That's ok with me. I just open the window in my den. I've had the bedroom window open a couple inches for the last two months. She lights the stove every time it rains.

Sitting waiting for tires to be put on my car.... I wish I could help them? These workers move slower than Molasses on a 10° winter night. :(

Do what I do,carry a piece of chalk with you.Walk up to someone like that, lean over and put a mark on the floor by their shoe. When they move their foot to see what you did look at them and say"oh,I guess you didn't die"!:D

I bought a new set of winter tires last fall. I brought the rims (no tires on them, had new valve stems/TPMS already installed) to the tire shop and it took them over an hour to get 4 new tires mounted, balanced and put back into the bed of my truck. The rims were virtually new steel rims, no grinding needed. Their mode of operation was mount a tire, have a smoke, balance, repeat. I worked in a gas station/tire shop back in high school and that was a 30 minute job tops.

Back years ago at jc pennys(yes they used to have auto shops) I got xtra the more tires I changed, made good money first snow days!We sem to be on another generation of "hey I showed up,and you want me to do something?"On the other hand when tpms were first put on vetts I used to carry one in my truck,as they only used 1 frequency, pull up to one at a light and it would set theirs off!I know,I am a bad person! :(

Reminds me of when radar detectors started getting popular in the 90s. I had one (no idea why, it was about impossible to speed in a 4 cylinder Oldsmobile), and it would go off when I hit the garage door opener. I may have been known to hit the garage door opener a time or two when I saw someone pass me with the cord dangling from the mirror in their car.

My little guy had his first baseball game Wednesday night. He was too cute, he got bored in the last inning and started dancing in the outfield. Here's a couple pics. I sure was a proud Momma!

First day in the 80s, love it. Son tilled the garden for us. Won't be too long and the planting will be all done. Fun time has started. It is going to be nice to have fresh cukes etc again.
