Here's a nice little song I discovered today that reminds me of summer cruising with the radio blasting back in the day  :drunk:

Did you ever have one of those days when things were going just great and then poof your system develops a case of the I don't want to work quite like I used to? Today was fine until I tried to play one of my Prime music library albums. Looks like *zon, Adobe, and Firefox are having a hissy fit with *zon giving out stupid misleading messages, likely because the flash player needs an updated version of something that the update package didn't call for during the latest install. I've chased the same situation down at least 3 other times. If you want to have a lot of fun try talking to *zon's tech group folks.

Last time I had that happen w/ Firefox and *..zon, I had to remove FF & Adobe Flash (both FF and IE versions) via "Programs and Features", install the latest version of FF, then do the Adobe Flash player update from the website. PITA.

It appears to be a bit worse this time around I'm afraid as I've already done a bit of poking around. It will involve getting rid of flash and going pure HTML5 wich is not in the default setup for the Linux version of firefox. I'm partway there at the moment, likely fresh eyes tomorrow will fix things, the config options are all looking the same.

Rest well then, STB. Been working on Windoze Dev. the past several weeks / haven't fired-up the *nix VM in awhile, but if you want another set of eyes on settings, etc. - be happy to help, just shout back or PM me.

It has nothing to do with Linux. Far more to do with getting rid of flash.

Well on the other front either Amazon or UPS can't get their act together and in gear as both of today's packages are out for delivery but not yet according to Amazon.

Oh, Amazon has a few issues with what it is displaying for music titles on their prime music player interface. Oh well all those user agent string checks are likely back*sswards or something. I never knew on/off was all that difficult, must be all that structured coding done elsewhere.

The boss has gone shopping with eldest daughter and youngest granddaughter.

I read something yesterday that Adobe is pretty much declaring Flash dead and advising to use HTML5. Good thing as Flash causes more issues than its worth sometimes.

Similar article ti what I saw yesterday....

    Adobe Flash is finally dead

Welcome to the Amazon holiday silly season, Smokey. Any issues on their site w/ Audio, Video, or Orders/Tracking are "suspect", until mid-Jan. '16 - this is when they get 'hammered' for a solid month +. ( It may not be you, your equipment / OS / or Browser - changing lot's o things may not make any difference until the issue is corrected on their end.)
