:headbang: One of the augers is trying to sing, I can see the bottom one turning, no pellets being fed. Any clues?

Dear husband stirred the hopper with a fire poker. Still not feeding, should I empty the hopper and refill?

Maybe you have a foreign object in there causing blockage? This happened to me last year, turns out there was a small piece of cardboard blocking the pellets getting in the auger chute. I had just dumped a discounted partial bag of TSC pellets in the hopper earlier that day, go figure.

It just lit!!!! Turned the stove off, waited til blower stopped. Unplugged it for a few minutes. Raked the 60lbs of pellets in the hopper to the sides and stuck my hand down to agitate what I could. Pluged it back in, its now feeding and just ignited. One of the augers is still giving harmonics, but I see flame , Phew!!

I have seen graphite spray mentioned here, do I need to get into the augers and do that or something else? The harmonic sounds like dusty brakes on truck.

No, but you will need to shut down and stove should be -cold- when applying (off for several hours),
else the resulting 'flash' from the hopper will be impressive, and considerable.:fire:

WW, would tackle that from both sides, hopper and full cleaning of auger motor area / any lubrication needed.

Not to be arrogant, starting a new tread would be more beneficial for the FHC site and quick access for you and others. The discussion will not get buried in this chatting tread. I would investigate further to where the noise is coming from, something is going on.
