I bought a clay chimenea at Lowes yesterday and it cracked within an hour! Instead of lugging the filthy thing back I patched the crack with hydraulic cement and use it a few more times until I buy a replacement, because fire is awesome.

I don't understand how he continues to convince teams that he is even barely competent

2 summers ago we were burning brush (I live in a wooded rural area) on a Saturday afternoon and the smoke was going right across the road....Ruh Roh...when a green pickup truck comes up the driveway. It had letters on the door that I could not read from where I was and the man that got out was wearing some kind of official looking tag around his neck...Ruh Roh.

I went up to where I could see what it was all about-he was selling frozen meats out of the back of his truck and the tag around his neck was his business information.

I upgraded to a dual band that works great. I put all cell phones on the 2.4 and my laptop and ROKU on the 5 GHZ band. I dont really know if it makes a difference but I get good speed everywhere.

I can do dual but the 2.4 band in this house is a none starter due to all of the 2.4 stuff. There were also a couple of 2.4 band routers in adjacent houses (a few hundred feet away) using default channels. I went to no SSID transmission and AES encryption to block interlopers. There are 3 2.4 GHz portable phones in my land line setup 1 of which is 9" from my router, there is also a cell transceiver about 10 feet from the router, and a smart meter about 12 feet from it. Upstairs there are 4 2.4 devices within 10 feet of the TV. Lots of possible trouble makers. I got some of it separated when I first set things up but could never get it all separated.

I got a toilet brush from the dollar store. It was working great till I hit my 90 and no go. No matter what I did it would not fit past that elbow.

I did get some reading in and "watched" some football; I read at the beginning of the game and they are ahead but when I actually start watching, my team always starts losing, so I go back to reading and they win.

Had an electrician come in and update some wiring in the basement and install a couple more lights & outlets, so I couldn't really piddle around like I normally would on a crappy day like yesterday. Hey, but it is nice bright light in my future work room / work out room. Now just need to get sheetrock and install it.
