Cleaning up around the house. 2 trees have been snapped in the treeline since Dec. And taking down a Poplar that is near the treeline.

It's been a rough 2 days. Got to work yesterday and the office was 59. Notified the building Super. Burner tech shows up an hour later. Worked on the boiler for an hour. Can't find anything wrong with it. He thinks were out of oil. At some point during the day oil was delivered. When I was leaving for the day another burner tech was trying to fire it up. Spent last night in front of the stove trying to get the chill out of my bones. Got up this morning house was 60 and the stove was off. WTF??? Evidently when I loaded the stove last night before I went to bed, the hopper lid didn't get closed completely. Again. :headbang: :emb: I guess I should have loaded the stove BEFORE I drank a lot of beer. Got home from work this afternoon and the house was 61. WTF again??? When I started the stove this morning I had it in stove mode. Before I went to work I changed it to room temp mode. Or so I thought. I turned the stove off and never turned it to room temp. :headbang::headbang::headbang: The stove is running now, the hopper is full and the temp is set. I'm getting drunk.:drunk:

I wondered how long it would be for someone to say something about that! I had another spot in Iraq that was better, but the auto-curse control on the website spammed it to Chit, Iraq..........not the actual place name.......

Today was our opening day of fishing season. Bass we slow and could only get just a few nibbles. Water was just too dang cold(52*F) for a warm water species. So we switched up and started hunting trout. And looks whats for diner! :D

OK, the top one is a rainbow, what are the other 2? The middle one looks like a salmon and I'd say the bottom one was a brown, although it hard to tell the difference between salmon and browns at times. They certainly aren't brookies.

Their both brown's, Middle one might be the Seeforellen strain. Many of the Ct lakes are getting them.

I can't wait for a good Prime Rib (I'm glad I'm not the only one that capitalizes the words when it comes to that fine cut of MEAT).

The Traeger is about to get moved back to the front part of the deck once it's warm enough to keep the doors open. I've also got a good stash in the savings account for a Big Green Egg but don't tell my old lady

She'll be ok with it when she eats her first brisket.....

I've seen browns and salmon come out of the same lake up here and it's almost impossible to tell sometimes. To the point you have to check the teeth, although I can never remember which is which.
