    I didn't own one, but learned BASIC programming on one of those at college.....w/ cassette drive.

    That what we had in school. Still remember the funky sounds when you loaded them cassette's. Used to raise the hair on the back of my neck!!

    I was a late bloomer. My first was an IBM PS2. Got all excited when the 3.5 floppy came out for it. paid $300 clams for it. You can get em for free these days. I did sell it to a collector some years back for $250. I thought I did OK. Built a P4 2.4 gig with the money and sold that for $500. Then building my own, I got to build a few new ones for me and my son........ Load win 7 and then get the free win 10 upgrade. ;)

    I have a 10K unit in the LR....ditto on what he said about making the hose as short as possible (or maybe some thermal insulation wrapped around it?)

    No, those were screen shots of just a few of the windowing systems I can choose from at system start up time, currently I get a menu of 12 different window managers to pick from. A bit later today I will cut a live DVD that will allow a boatload of games for most of the game systems to be played.

    At one time I had a room full of computers to play with, that has been reduced to one machine and a couple of emulators. I used to buy the computers used for a maximum price of $50 back when. A lot of the systems I got for just removing them.

    I've got to get my IBM heavy metal system up so I will have something to royally mess up this winter while you are explaining for the millionth time how to really clean a pellet stove :faint:.
