Just got done cleaning the carpet. Wife, kid and dog are out of the house today. Figured it would be a good time to get it done.

I'm glad we have carpet that doesn't show dirt. I don't want to know what was in the stuff I sucked up and poured down the drain. :bug:

I know I made a lot of rookie mistakes when I was that age. I figured it was the least I could do since he had to go way to the back of the pellet stacks to get to the Pro Pellets. The Michigan wood pellets were right up front. No way was I taking those home.

Started prepping for the install of the p 43 today took the old wood burner hearth bricks out hosing off 20 years worth of Dirt :bug::hair: they will be re used .
picked up some flooring as the new hearth won't need to be as big as the old one was . I'll start a separate thread when I get more in to the project :)

If that's laminate wood and you were able to find the same color, you are a lucky, lucky man. I did my kitchen and dining room in Fergo (fake Pergo, forgot what brand, but it wasn't Pergo and it wasn't the cheap chit either). Six months afterwards the wife decided she wanted the same stuff in the entry way. That color was discontinued and I didn't have enough in my leftover/spare pile to do the job. It ended up getting tile instead, which was probably for the best in that area.

It's vinyl Traffic Master got it at HD looks like it's going to match up very nicely and where it's located I don't usually have the lights up bright so I might notice it ,but I don't think anybody else would .

It really does make for easy cleanup. My two previous homes didn't have it so when we built this one I made sure we got it....

Educate me? I am looking into vinyl planks for the bathroom. It appears to be self adhesive. Yours looks more like tongue and groove pergo type? Or is the pic playing tricks on me?
