Not sure those make it here, I could be wrong. They are also in the Golden Fire and America's Best bags too.

Out west is far cheaper than over here. Besides the Blazers members scored at HD. The rest get killed with shipping/hauling/handling/markup fees.

You'd have to ask Doug, But I assume bulk hauling them and baggin would be cheaper than just tossing pallets into rail cars. Ya get more tonnage and all the damage is sifted(generally speaking) out.

Better to get it straight from the horse's aaaa, Err I mean mouth!!

I'm sure it was for "more a profit" venture. NEWP tried it for a few seasons many years ago, But that didn't work for them. Not sure on the details, But assume the waste was what got them. Bulk pellets rubbing all the way here has to reduce to saw dust again. The Upton plant has the ability to re-pellet the fines.

Not sure what the cost to re-pellet the fines is or how it effect's the end profit? Has to cost something to run and maintain the equipment.

:hair: I had a an antique wardrobe (1911) in good shape. The front door panels had wood grain the shape like that, we called it the gorilla cabinet. I gave it away for free to get it out of my house.....Obviously it never left my mind.:zip:

Looks like they did get sloppy toward the end doesn't it. Are they OK like that so DH won't have to re-stack? Nice barn by the way.

:picard: Yes, he will have to restack, bags slid off on both the sides and the back of those 2 pallets :picard:

On the other hand, the other 5 tons are secure:)

Water from melting snow and melting snow drifts goes through the dirt floor (horse pole barn). He wont risk those bags getting water logged.

Storms came through here. Odd how it is hit or miss within such short distances.
