    It was quite good.
I would have been grabbing those blue moon while finding the complement to that cocktail sauce

I had a Tuckerman's on draft to go with the fisherman's platter at Bayhaven, the lobsters were beeping, flashing, and vibrating all around that place.

Had to have something good after doing the laundry today. All work and no food makes for a scrawny grumpy bear.

    Started moving the kitchen supplies
My daughter came and helped. She gets along good with the wife. We have two to three times what we need for gadgets etc. She also weeded out the outdated food. Trash can full of it. Salad dressings etc. Stuff never opened. She'll have a lot less space now to collect that stuff. Lots of QVC stuff seldom ever used.
This new living area is wide open. Not nearly as conducive to tucking stuff here and there.
I got the TV working. Still have to wait on settling in my new desk. Need to get those outlets activated.
The plumber bailed on us. I'll try someone else Monday. Anyone know if the gas company will connect the line to the stove?

Depends on what the gas company sells some of them sell and hook up appliances some don't. Just like Lowes some Lowes will provide installation of appliances and some don't, it even varies on what the appliance is. My new dishwasher will be installed but when I asked about a heat pump based hot water heater the local Lowes wouldn't even though the ads said some would. Go figure.

Ditto. Is your daughter available for hire to come to Wyoming?

    Ditto for me here.

Love it Will. You should have seen my trunk after the day I went to BJs and discovered they had a whole pallet of Cold Snap on the floor. In related news, the stores around here have already started selling Octoberfest; one of my all time favorites. Time for another BJs run!

Same here, Schoons part of the suby club now.

I'm looking at the impreza or legacy. Reasonably priced for all wheel drive and still good gas mileage. CVT makes me nervous and they rust like crazy!!

Mom had 2 outbacks and both rotted to the door handles pretty quickly. Hopefully they have done something about that??

I don't think they have. Now they put a salt brine down before the snow even hits. Eats cars alive. We are going to try to own it for 5 years than trade it in before the rust really sets in. Many of the new suvs have the cvt. Change fluid out at 50k and hopefully it will live.
My vote was a Chevy Equinox or a Nissan Rogue. We had an 09 Rogue and it was a great vehicle. Awesome in the snow, I can't believe the Suby will be that much better.
It does have the Eyesight and the nicer radio and fuel mileage should be slightly better than the Rogue.

Yup, I've driven a lot of Nissan Altima's with the CVT at work, and the ones that were well taken care of seemed OK....the others, not so much. I still just don't really like them. Too much shuddering & vibrations.

Oh, congrats on the new wheels Doggy.

    Thanks imacman.
My son also bought a new car recently. He had a 2002 Altima that had 275k on it. He wanted another Altima since his did him right for several years. We drove three cars, first was a 2013 Altima and it had some strange noises coming from the cvt. A Hyundai Sonata had some misfiring. The last one was a 2013 Chevy Malibu that ran nice and currently is parked next to the Suby. The cvt in my rogue had two services in 100k and was working flawlessly when we traded it in. Nice and smooth.

    Doggy

Half the home care nurses in our local agency drive a Subaru. They swear by them for getting around in rural Maine during the winter. I haven't seen a rusty Subaru in a long time.
