She didn't even have a clue about them, she made a bee line straight to the kitchen-aide units drooling all over the floor. She was looking for the sales droid and I pulled her over and pointed them out. You need to understand that of the three units we had before this place were all Kitchen-Aides and she was not impressed with the Maytag at all from the very git go but it was what was here, the entire kitchen was Maytag. So is the clothes washer and dryer.

Now in keeping with the thread topic I made a batch of sour pickles, cleaned up one of the two trees downed by our encounter with, wind, rain, thunder and lightening, complete with hail, the thorn tree is all cut up and the pin oak is next. Wild time at the house this afternoon.

Did you get hit by hail? Just a couple miles up the road, they got hit with it while we only got high wind. The gardens and orchards got hit bad. Lots of bruising on the apples. I hope the farmers had insurance.

Yes but the only thing that took a beating was those two trees as far as I know.

Hey Will, have you burned North Country before? I burned 4 tons a 2 or 3 years ago and liked them alot- at 259/ton they were the sleeper of the year for quality softies.

I tried some the year before that when my pellet guy had some with damaged wrapping in their first year producing. Half way through the burning season he was able to sell some at a ridiculous price for a new good softie -near 200/ton IIR due to possible water damage of maybe 2-3 bags per pallet-most pallets were OK with no issues. I split a ton in January or February of that year with someone upon his recommendation and the killer pricing. The pallet we got was fine, no issues at all.

Last year they went up and others in his area started carrying them, so my pellet house dropped them since they would be rivaled by Lacrete and Spruce Pointe pricing.

All things being within 5-10 bucks a ton, my money is on Lacrete. Their consistency and great burning is top notch

I pay around 60/week for the privilege of having the health care. If I NEED it for something other than seeing my primary doc, I still have to pay the first $3,000.00-this includes any tests such as an ex-ray, MRI etc. Specialists and stuff like physical therapy are 50.00 per visits for a deductible.

Oh, and all those $50 deductibles you pay do NOT go towards your 3K deductible if procedures are needed. Talk about legalized scams.

All this means that stuff goes untreated and doctors are avoided by me due to the costs involved. Its beyond me how this is allowed to have hard working people being taken advantage of when others who have never contributed to the working system get a free MRI for a hangnail. These comments re in no way aimed those who have earned their healthcare during their lifetime.

Teresa bought a Kitchenaid that is sooooo quiet. But the racks rollers are flimsy and it crapped out 2 weeks ago after only a year or two old. She has the extra warranty from Lowes but getting the appliance repair company to actually show up is the issue now.

My 21 year old Whirlpool might not be the latest and greatest, doesnt have a metal tub or is the quietest, but is works great. I dread replacing it with the crap that is on the showroom floors now.

No, A supplier sent Steve a bag to test last season ,it might have been a bad batch or got really crushed in shipping ,pellets were small with a lot of fines Steve couldn't do a test as they wouldn't feed right and clogged up his hopper . The guy felt bad so he sent a bunch of freebies and my Man Steve passed a few on to me  . I'm looking forward to seeing how they burn along with the Crete's.

Interesting. The year I burned 4 ton (2 years ago) they had the same issue with many small broken pieces. I forgot about that as it did not bother my Harman in the least but it was another reason they were dropped from my pellet house. Regarding fines, there were more than I would have liked to see and far more than I have ever seen in Lacretes, but again a Harman just burns those too. I chalked all of this too growing pains-wonder if they are still having these issues?

    What stove couldnt feed these?

Overall I think you will like these and if they were still 259/ton, I would be burning them.

Steve has a 55 Trpep the way Steve explained it to me was the the pellets were splitting length wise and then with all the fines it was like feeding saw dust into the burn pot ,it didn't work :(

G, I don't know what the price is going to be I know that Joe from Bucks Pellets has some samples to hand out too ,to see what kind of feed back he gets if enough folks like them maybe he'll start carrying them .

We got stood up by both the plumber and the electrician. Ugh. They are both nice people so I won't say bad things. My son was discouraged over this. He worked hard to have everything ready for them. Today is a new day, lets see how this goes.
He has to get us moved into the space and him moved to our space so the kids can start school on time.
