Arti , how did things turn out with your elderly father and his home insurance regarding the wood stove?

I am chilly, and humidity is much higher than I am accustomed too. I turned on the pellet stove. Will it bring down the humidity in here too?

We have done that several times. We feel better. That is all it needs to do.

We got a duzzy too. Lost power for a few. All gone now and the sun is out drying things out. Heard some other locations(in CT) got hail and lots more wind than we got.

Just had a bunch of boomers go through. At least no tornado.
On the rebuild project, primer went on in the kitchen and living room. Some floor leveling done to the concrete floor. Tomorrow the tiles start to go down. Then the cabinets and appliances go in. After that, the bed and bath get more work. Will send pictures if I can get in there tomorrow. Son has been keeping the door blocked so the dogs don't go in there and get into stuff.

They agreed that perhaps that an error was made. At first it was upsetting and then it was hilarious. For those that wonder what we are talking about my father is 101 years old and his insurance company is giving him a bad time about a wood stove that he never had. they were going to cancel his policy if he didn't quit going out and collecting firewood i guess.

Yea....in Provincetown at the moment......no tornado here either, but dang ominous and windy......no basement to go to either......I guess I will just eat some lobster and clam chowder and ponder the inequities of life while watching the seals frolic over on herring cove........

There are more than "seals" frolicking" there in P Town. Well known "artist community".
