Had a plumber here today with a helper. $600 but it is done right. He has two more visits for about 3 hrs each at each stage. I think maybe two or three more visits from the electrician. Drywall should be going in next week. Son found some mold on the back of some of the stuff I put in some 30 years ago. He tore it all out and said the vapor barrier that I had put in had caused it. We had a couple water issues several years ago that could have caused it. I've since corrected all the issues with outside drains and water sealing.

Finally got my butt down to HD to pick up all the electrical stuff for the new shed.....4' shop light, bulbs, bunch of outlets & switches, wire, GFCI breaker, outside security light, outdoor waterproof outlet, etc., etc., etc. Had a 10% off coup, so saved myself about $30. Gonna put all the boxes in tomorrow, hang the lights, etc., and then a friend from work is gonna wire it all.

The least favorite part will be digging the trench to lay the underground feed line. Wish I had one of those things the cable guys use to bury cable.

    Pics when it's done.

Ditch witch might be able to rent one. Our local Taylor rental has one.

Don't forget to call CBYD-(811). Its a free service that will locate any under ground obstacles. ;)

It's a top 10 day here, can't ask for much better weather than this. Took the dogs for a long walk and saw these growing wild on the side of the road.

You got that right TT, beautiful day. Spent most of it outside playing with the kids and had a small bbq. The Sox even had a nice comeback win!

Only thing is the cable TV cable installed last fall......the cable guys said there wasn't anything else there, and the electrical I'm going to run is in the same area. Just gotta be careful of that one, but I have a pretty good idea where it is.

Stopped by the local farm supply store yesterday to get some propane. They started carrying Traeger pellet grills this year and the manager had one fired up was giving away free samples. I tried a few and talked with the manager a bit and asked him how the ash was cleaned out of the grill. He stared at me for about 10 seconds and finally said "That's a good question. I don't know". I almost started laughing and walked away shaking my head. At least the sausage I tried was yummy.

Here is a hummingbird on the feeder. We have lots of them around this year. They sound like little helicopters zooming around all day, and man are they territorial! They spend more time making that tell-tale high pitched hummingbird battle sound than actually eating at the feeder!

Good to see your are not using the commercial red stuff. Not so good for the birds. Best to make your own from real sugar. Also need to clean them weekly with a mild bleach solution to control spreading disease.

None of them were interested in that stuff at my old house, sugar water drew crowds of them...

I liked all but the last part. ;)

We have 3 feeders set up for them. But they all seem to fight over the one on the deck. Might be a game for them. Something to keep them amused??

We have one on a post near our boat. While working on the boat we constantly get buzzed. First couple a times it scares the pudding out of ya! :D

We use the same. The feeder's look like flowers and its enough to draw them to it.

    Cool birds!
