Agreed, yesterday was perfect! Went to a bbq yesterday afternoon, then the liitle one slept over their aunts. The wife and I went to Cedar St Grill in Sturbridge, very good food and drink selection.

The skunks go quickly as well, just those Rickys that don't.

High winds, low humidity and dry fuel on the ground. Makes it very easy to start a fire and for it to spread very quickly.

Got it! The dry fuel on the ground out here is brown, like straw, the green pasture in the pic fooled me.

:headbang:Box stores! Lowes called at 7:30 to tell me that they were getting ready to deliver our new gas range. When they opened the undamaged packing, they found a badly dented stove inside. Seems it was packaged dented. I can't lay that on Lowes, in fact I am glad they didn't try to delivery damaged goods. I had anticipated my other things delivered at the same time, but those are on the schedule for Thursday. Don't know why they would do that, but.
It is no big deal. They kitchen hasn't been built yet! I had delayed the delivery from a month ago, but won't do that again. I'll let them put the stuff in the garage and then it will be here when we want it. I was told that the reconstruction will start this Wednesday. Should go fast.

I'd say, all in all Larry... you're doing a great job focusing on the goal and not the chaos that is a remodel of a house that's lived in as it's being done. It's a real test of patience. Good idea too, to get items ordered when you can and then store them in the garage until needed. Could save many days time in the end. Hang in there buddy! :D It'll be in the rearview before you and Cindy know it...

Unexpectedly had to drop everything yesterday and take our company small box truck with pc's and monitors and head down to our sister company in Austin, Texas. Their call center and headend are apparently under water and flooded out. They are setting up additional seating at a small call center and need more machines.

Hope everyone is having a good day and don't forget to remember our fine military folks on this day!

Defensive driving friend, people do stupid stuff on holiday weekends, especially with all the bbq's and parties etc.

Well should I put the AC in the window upstairs? Didn't use it much last year and the summer temperature forecast isn't on the warm side.

I did make room for the dehumidifier in my den today while moving a few things around. I also ordered a tank fill for the oil beast.

We started filling the larder back up yesterday, took advantage of some BBQ sales to get a few items put away.

We got a little rain this morning (overnight) so I will mow some of the lawn when it drys enough. We still need rain but at least won't have to water and seeds or seedlings.

Offensive driving works if you are in a tank.
