Was quite the sight Thursday night as Lori & I finagled getting a couple bags of pellets into the P43. She steadying the top of the bag while I lifted from the bottom with my right. Was able to do a decent cleaning with just one arm.

Gave my self a decent test yesterday as Lori had 4 hours of tests and consultations down at Lahey. Was tired by the time we got home but I didn't get the "whoa I gotta stop for a few minutes to get energy back" like I had been. Actually felt good last night. Of course I-93 rush hour traffic from Boston to NH tends to keep one on their toes.

That is my plan for today. Crank it up to get around 74ºF in da shack and then shut the stove down to cool for a deep clean seeing we are about 40+ bags in. Switch the stats back to oil(70ºF). while the stove cools down. Don't want to use too much dino drippings, Trying to save that stuff in case we get one of them polar vortex thingies!!

Won't be stumbling up on the roof with the sn* up there so I'll only brush out the tee's from the basement. Shouldn't be to too bad but the way the yoyo temp swings been going. I'll better do most of it JIC.

Retirement has made me lazy as goobers and I've gotten in habit to push stuff off until the last minute lately. Kind of like getting the sn*blower ready. Waited until there were 5+ inches before I did the yearly maintenance!! :(

    Slacker me be!!

savemoney , thought you'd not appreciate this ......like me. I joined a decluttering group on Facebook and a few members are second guessing tossing them.

A mom in this group was discussing donating/selling her kids Barbie collection. I chimed in we're doing the same/similar. Houses in the dumpster, barbies/clothes donated.

It's nuts how many aren't happy with my decision though it's a decluttering channel. Wild, I want a better space for our Christmas tree. She got more than her use out of the very old barbie house and the less old barbie house when little and they were invaluable when schools were closed and she was the only kid out here. And I checked more than once, she says dumpster and be done. I get it (and reality check for me).

If there is any useful life left in the unwanted toys, donate them. Churches often can find second homes for them.

That's inconvenient during the cold. I bought an igniter as a spare years and years ago. Of course I have no idea where it is right now - although I do have an idea of the general area it should be at. I'm hoping to get many more years out of the ones currently in service though (KOW).
