We are having a few days of dry sunny weather.
Cold at night...30's F but the sunny skies are welcome.
Ran Munchy yesterday to fill up the barrels in the basement.....

Ran two barrels of 1/2 rounds to get Stove ready materials.

I am hoping we do not get any real cold snowy weather this winter.
But If wishes were horses ya know....

I'm still waiting for Rocky's to come and fix my stove. It's been about three months since my initial request. I usually hate it being too hot in here, but the older I get, the more I appreciate the warmth. There isn't any heat that compares to that of a stove. The glow of the fire is also very nerve-soothing. I noticed that the pets like it also.

So after a couple weeks of being fatigued, issues doing chores, climbing stairs, I had Lori bring me to the ER on Sunday . Turns out my heart rate resting was 52, any exertion made it drop to 40. Rest a minute goes back up.
Cardiologist says the electrical signals going through my heart are weak or intermittent. So they're putting in a pacemaker tomorrow morning. He said it's somewhat common in older people, that it's not fatal unless when you faint you hit something going down.

Feel bad for Lori cause she can't handle the 40 lb bags of pellets. She said she'd try getting a bag open and use a scoop to fill it. I worry she's going to find the stove off when she gets home cause she knows nothing about starting it up. I told her to just turn the knob to off and use the electric baseboards till I get home Thursday.
And after all her medical stuff over the past 8 years, it's weird she's the one visiting now.

Leave some buckets with whatever amount of pellets is OK for her lift sat near the stove. We bought 20 lb bags this year. Cost a whole lot more, but it was our solution.

Procedure went great. Was was weird being able to talk to the team while they were putting electrodes into my heart . They even piped in some Van Halen for me.
Right now heart rate is in the 80's-90. Feel so much better, can tell energy is coming back.
