Thank you all for the Birthday wishes! Had a relaxing day and avoided the diet with a double cheez burger and fries from 5 guys! A chocolate shake and a big piece of Double Chocolate cake!

I may have another piece for breakfast. Just not as big! :D

Thanks. Hopefully all set, still funding the healthcare system with tests. Heart monitor on now for 2 weeks then stress test but its looking like an isolated issue caused by extreme stress. Cardiac echo a month ago showed normal 4 weeks after heart issue was identified early November.

Oh and also anemia that was likely caused by large amounts of nsaids after the shoulder surgery in Aug. That is now normal but still tests for that to come after the heart is Okee Dokeed by the Dr. You know those tests-going in both ends to take a look around, but bloodwork 4 days ago showed all normal. Meh, I am at 10 years anyway for the looksee there.

As I said, funding the healthcare system but very ok with it as I dont ever want to feel like I did in November. Hopefully all is well now but better safe (and broke) than sorry.

On the heating side. No pellets for me this year.

Between the shoulder surgery and then the other issues where I couldnt walk up a set of stairs without being out of breath like I sprinted a quarter mile, I'm taking a year off of carrying pellet bags.

Bought 600 gallons of oil to get me thru the season. :emptywallet:

Frankly, its been so long since pre buying I totally forgot how much I use on oil alone.

Yeah, but the company I work for was sold Sept 1 to a large company.

I had saved all my vacation time previously for the shoulder surgery anticipating being out for a while but I ended up needed only 4 days then wrking from home for a week, leaving me with about three weeks unused. That time was paid out at time of sale.

THAT is what paid for the oil-my unused vacation time from last year

At least I am still working on stoves. Better half is still running her XXV.

Convection fan died early December. I knew it was flaky last year so I had bought one last year and didnt need it then. Worked for a month or so this year and died-at least we had it on hand. She and her son replaced it while I drove to Fallons in Hampton to get a new exhaust gasket. I wasnt in any shape to move that heavy stove at the time-they did great while I played foreman

Then 2 weeks ago, the auger stopped. By this time I was back up to speed so I was back at the helm of repairs-moved the stove out gain, checked a few things, removed the auger motor and then the auger itself as it was bound. Sure enough, a small lighter had fallen in the pellet hopper and made it to the auger.

Was sooo happy to find this as we didnt need any parts. Originally was afraid it might be the auger motor and depending on the serial number of the stove, one type of motor was available and the other wasnt.

Had to switch to hard selterz since the doc got on me about the beer bella.

No thanks to me as I was just the middleman . Well Seasoned worked his magic for ya!

Glad your back! You gotz lots of catchin up to do!
Not to bad. You must keep the stat pretty low!

I used 700+ with the stat at 72ºF during the day and 68ºF at night. Didn't(Couldn't) do the setback until the mrs. was off to sleep!

Expected to use approx. 6 tons of pellets and the last drops of oil in the tank this season.
