I just can't justify in my mind getting one to move a few pallets 20-30'. Not like I could use it to move them from the garage into the basement or from the yard to the garage. Give it another few years and that option may look more attractive :)

Looks like the next 10 days are going to be in the upper 40's and low 50's around here. Maybe finally turning the corner into spring. Of course it is New England so anything can happen on any given day. I remember one year in the 1980's we had like 10-12 " of snow on my ex's birthday, April 17th. Then it went back into the 60's and it was all gone in a day or two.

According to AAA, average price for gasoline in NH is $4.01/gal. Saw some $3.99/gal in Exeter Friday, price has gone up almost $.50/gal in the past 7-10 days.

Francestown, NH, April 29, 1987, we got 18" and Boston received more. The ex and I moved from KS to NH, arriving a couple of days before the storm and had to return the uhaul to Middlesex, MA the day after the storm hit (the closest terminal at the time).

In 82 we'd been married for 5 yrs, daughters were 6 & 3, had moved from Milford to Manchester 6 months prior. Had gone thru a govt job training program (CETA) to get retrained in electronics and in Dec '81 got a job as the store service tech at the new Chuck E Cheese in Manchester. CETA programs weren't that great but started me on a 35 yr career as a field service tech in vending/amusement, payphone and copiers/printers/networking. Worked for me anyway, of the 20 people who were in the program with me, I ended up being the only one who got a job working with electronics.

Since yesterday the AAA avg NH gasoline price went up from $4.01 to $4.07. In California , LA county price hit $7 this weekend.
Read a NH Reddit post that heating oil went from $4.09 to $4.54 in 1 week. Diesel is around $5 most of the country, that's going to effect prices on just about everything shipping costs will go up.

Looked on Fallons web site to check pellet prices. Since last April Vermont went from $320 to $335/ton, Wood & Sons from $310 to $320. Wonder if they will have their spring sale this year.

For those who use Over The Air (OTA aka an antenna) for TV this may be of some use.

Over the past couple years a lot of TV stations had to change the actual VHF or UHF channel they broadcast on thanks to the wonderful FCC selling off the UHF bands above ch 36 for cell phone channels and some lower VHF channels in the ch 2-6 range. This was referred to as the "Repack". As this forced stations to have to do transmitter work it took a couple years to get it all done (some stations are still waiting for techs to do the work, covid and all). So every few months you had to do a rescan of channels.

We noticed some stations didn't come in as well, some were gone. Saw a YouTube video on the Antenna Man channel where he reviewed some new antenna from Televes that have been redesigned to focus on the high VHF (7-13) and UHF up to ch 36. Also comes with an amp and a new 5G filter. Decided to give the DATBOSS LR Mix HI-VHF UHF 149884 a try. Expensive ( $210) but made quite a difference in both stations received and signal strength. Went from 43 to 52 channels received (got back the CH 68 ION stations we lost after they did their frequency change) and all the stations are now 4-5 bars on the signal meter. Old antenna was the ChannelMaster CM 4228HD.
Even though we're half way up a hill and only 45 miles from most of the transmitters, we have a lot of trees in the path and this antenna makes a difference.

I bought the $18 Amazon OTA flat antenna to have as a back-up in case of dish/cable outages. I get approx. 30 channels, although I have not done a re-scan since I bought it back in Dec. '19. https://tinyurl.com/4m4uvsy5

The lowe's pellets were delivered today. They had to reschedule after their truck broke down and it was taking a long time to repair. So, husband got another pallet here meanwhile (lol, rebagged Rocky Mountains  ). I changed the order to one pallet instead of 2, incase the lowe's pellets weren't very good.
