Actually, if they start after 6 month's, he's going to wait 4 month's and try again.
The original test absolutely showed that non-ethanol gas a clear winner if you have to let an engine sit for extended periods......that engine started every time, and there was NO crap in the fuel bowl.

Typically, the average person who decides to use these products goes by the old adage "if a little is good, more is better". Unfortunately for things like fuel stabilizers, it's not. It causes the fuel to gel in the carb even faster. Put in exactly what they recommend on the bottle/can....no more. But, as the testing showed, you can go a LONG time before plain gas will actually "go bad". And it's really not the gas itself, but the ethanol that causes the problems.
When I use to put my snowblower & mower away, the stuff I used called for a cap-full in a gallon of gas. Never caused me a problem, but I never tried it without anything.

Sucking up corn/pellet mix at a high rate of consumption the last few days. I need to shut both down and do a quick clean as the corn ash is getting a bit out of hand. Holding 72 in the house and 68 in the shop. Gonna be a long winter.

Having standing rib for Thanksgiving dinner, have 3 in the deepfreeze. Priced a 3 blade standing rib at the grocery the other day...$100 bucks. I don't think so.

Food prices are way outta sight now. Sure am glad I have a side in the freezer as well as Elk, bear and Whitetail plus conventional meat too. The tractor side of the shop has 4 folding tables loaded with taters drying and onions too that need to go in the cellar and there are stuffed green peppers and shelled sweet corn. green beans and brussels sprouts in the deep freeze as well.

Living in a remodeled farmhouse, we have a big root cellar down stairs thsat is loaded with canned goods, my wife cans a lot of stuff. Everything from pickled beets to sauerkraut to pickles and hanging racks for taters, onions and carrots layered in sand. No food shortages here.

    Burn on baby, burn on.....:D

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! The wife and I are going to my daughters house with the rest of our family. Much bigger house and, most importantly, we don't have to cook! We did buy a small fresh turkey that I will cook tomorrow morning so we can have leftovers

Happy Thanksgiving to all you fine folks , hope you enjoy your day where ever, whatever that may be ! I am ecstatic as one can be as I will have 4 days away from work starting today just could not be happier ! Going to try smoking a couple of Turkey breast as I have never tried it and its just the wife and I whom will be consuming , will finish off the leaves today and thinking about grabbing a new convection and combustion fan for the P68 as I believe they are getting tired and something tells me its gonna be a cold winter. I think I have had my stove 7 years but don't for get I burn at least 10 tons and usually more like 12-14 tons a year and that is burning hard, working the stove very hard. We will see might not do anything other than eat and drink

Hope the crew here all had a great T DAY
We stoked up the stove and headed out to the Daughter and Son in law's place for the afternoon.

Had a great dinner and enjoyed the day..

Got home about 7 ish last night.
Stove still had plenty of shells.

The shells do not roll down the hopper like the pellets do...and as such the hopper contents can feed out of the center and actually run the auger dry and still have a lot of material still left.

I need to install a vibrator on the hopper to help the material slide down..

We can get about 8 hours on the big stove and not run out....but after that is pushing it.

    A great day.....
