Did my Complete cleaning and lit the P43 to take the chill of the house. New grandson came for a visit so needed to warm things up.

Fired up the P43 this morning, house was chilly and damp from the rain and my old bones don't take that too well any more.

There is something comforting about the first fire of the season. Clinking of pellets as the auger feeds them, the fans whirring, and that great feeling as the warmth spreads across the house.

    Way ahead of schedule.
Crappy day today... so I did the spring cleaning of the stove..
Not too proud, that I can't laugh at myself.
Put all the metal back on the Harman... picked up tools..
and then noticed the cover for the fines box..
I know I am not the first... so I can admit it..!!

I ran to Home and Hearth today to grab some more pellets. Wood and Sons $6.40. Vermonts $6.80. Northern Warmth $8.40!? They told me the small increase in the Vermonts and Wood and Sons was due to fuel cost for the trucking.
Home Depot has Green Supreme for $5.99.

Fired up the Accentra today and it ran like a Swiss watch.

    OMG YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
I have never laughed so hard.

The other ticklers are the low overpass videos with all the Ryder trucks tearing the trucks apart...Or the dude pulling the big trailer house leaving the air conditioners in the street.

Finished the deal on the Outback.....
Loaded it up and dragged it home Sunday...
Weather has been dreadful the past couple days....so the little rig is still sitting on the trailer.
That is the heaviest rig I have ever had on that trailer.
    3700#
Back in 2004 I hauled a 1990 Bronco 2 4x4 from LA home to The ranch hear in Newberg.

    That little Bronco weighed 3400#

The Outback put the trailer down so the front tires were only 1/2" from the inside of the fenders... That was almost a bridge too far.... Handled well behind the old Green Suburban 2500 4x4....The 7.4L shrugged it off well....

Getting anxious to get it off and get after things.

The engine is the 6 cylinder version...Has a bad vibration dampener pulley....I am going to replace that and then see how it runs....

Get a nice video of it running before I pull it out of the rig to sell.

    Fun stuff

Yup the good ole 11'8&8 bridge. They raised it 8 inches (thus the &8) and it still gets hit even with the flashing sign and lights.

For those interested this is the infamous ac units ripped off the rv video
Lots of other fun ones on that channel as well. Guy actually has 2 cameras to get different angles.

I keep hearing a noise like a truck with dusty brakes stopping. Only it's in the house. Process of elimination on what could cause it = pellet stove. Auger? One of the blowers?

Auger is intermittent, if it's constant must be a fan.

Got my Harman emergency parts kit delivered today. Quick delivery, ordered it on Sunday. Of course now that I have it, I'll never need it but peace of mind given the current state of things in the world.

WW: Could be a bearing going in the exhaust or room blower.

scajjr2: good to keep spares. I keep a control board where the remote tstat call doesn't work, but manual works 100%. Better than nothing...

Thank you friends, I hear it once in a while all day (our stove runs 24/7/365). The stove is just a few years old, and all 4 blowers are "oilless". I pray it's not the exhaust or blower, those come from China.

One concern: if the stove runs 24x7, next time it shuts down that blower may not spin again.

Whenever one of mine was going, that's what usually happened. Especially on an exhaust blower.
