Thats actually pretty much the same thing as NHOU. Different oil but same concept. Really, its an old school concept around here-oil it and drive up and down dirt roads.

I opted for the wax application as it doesnt need yearly re application. Wax process is more $$ up front but if you keep vehicles (like I do) its cheaper over time.

Thnks. I will its my first American vehicle in over 30 years and really hope it holds up. I dont buy vehicles often.

The rust is usually the issues around here for GM products. The Honda had almost none and that was driven every winter in all kinds of salt and crud. Just dont like the new Ridgeline. Test drove one and said, nope not for me.

Nice ride G. Never been much of a GM fan myself but I' am considering a new silverado. Do you know when they did the coating if they take wands and spray in all possible holes cracks and crevices. I do body work for a living and most of the rust you see is caused from the inside out. We have guns with long wands and spinning tips at work for replacing corrosion protection after repairs.

You won't be disappointed! Feels like I got a new machine. I got no drive slippage this time and I used it for about three hours. It's fun to use now. ✌️✌️

Yeah. they get into all of the crevices. From what can tell they did a good job. Time will tell.

In early Nov NHOU themselves (Chichester NH) was booked out till mid-late January. I talked with the owner about the process and asked if his dealer network was as good at it as they are. He asked where I was considering and he told me no worries with that shop as they take this process very seriously. They always send new hires to NHOU for training and if I could get in there early December to use them.

The 2019 Sierra we have has the new tailgate and as we are both late 50's and ailing joints its a godsend. Pretty sure the tailgate is going over to Chevy sooner or later. You may want to look into it if joints are an issue like ours.

We have an Avalanche....not really much of a truck...but it is a sweetie to drive and the cool factor is way off in the OZONES...

I wanted the Caddy version....but the $$$$$ were a tad more than I wanted to cough up

The 6.2 with the AWD is a sweet ride.......

We had an 08 Avelanche before the 2019 Sierra. Awesome truck for what she needed. Finally traded it when tranyy issues started. It had its engine issues along the way as well that I handled for the most part, but tranny was final straw for my better half.

My 2 pallets of pellets were delivered by Henry McManus with a 02 Avelanche just a few weeks ago.

This is the one. It doesnt go up by electric so not sre of thats what your talking about. Not a fan of the electric latches but I think all the GM half tons have those latches now.
It guess 2021 Silveradoes are getting them and yeah I imagine they are a PITA to work with. But when they work, their awesome . Wish my Colorado had it-I do miss the Honda trailgate that swings open as well as drops down.

Saw that option as well, very similar to the Honda. Ive seen only one out in the wild though but it was on my radar for half ton trucks as I looked for deals.

All these new options and gizmos on these new vehicles are cool until you have to work on them. Used to be able to take a tailgate off and back on in a minute now it's an hour just to take some of them off.

Frankly, her Sierra has so many gadgets-bazilion cameras, HUD (thats pretty dam cool), the 6.2 engine hauls azz and pretty sure an in flight attendant
This was one vehicle that I insisted get an extended bumper to bumper warranty and I highly doubt we will keep it any longer than the warranty as I'm sure all this is :emptywallet: to repair as it ages.
