    A much belated Thanks! for all the Birthday wishes! You have brightened my day. :)

    Busy days here, prepping and painting the exterior house finally - it's been a lot of years, so much prep work to do. Emily was up last weekend visiting & helping, will be missing her today. Off to town to pickup more supplies / the rope for rigging the safety lines for high ladder work. Getting the (4) ropes rigged over the roof line -> attached to the anchor points will take a good part of the day today. ... This is to have a safety line so I can high-climb and attach the safety harness bracket @ the roof line on the loft side of the house. This first line will be then hooked to the main bracket mounted, and serve as the secondary fail-safe / backup line. (Stoddard FD does a great job here, just don't want to be bothering them as part of this project, if you know what I mean.)

    Best to keep the FD out of your project, that can get expensive. Stay safe during the project (although, seeing how you worked with getting my P43 secured and moved with safety in mind, I know that is how you do things).

    spent last weekend completing the roof plywood and roofing. The weekend ran into Monday as one of our members is a residential contractor and brought his guy to help. With 4 of us we only had 2 square left out of 29 bought for the job.

    Finished that this Saturday, leaving the hip cap for a cooler day!

    Saturday afternoon I finished truss bracing and joist hangers on the hips. Sunday I put plywood on the kitchen alone. Not bad for a 65 year old open heart surgery patient!

    I have my RV on site, so I don't need to drive home. I can get to :coldone::beerbbq:quicker at the end of the day!
