Those who own 2nd homes are arriving here in numbers. As far as isolation for 14 days, I think it is the honor system, or watch out for busy body neighbors. They can be very pesty. This virus likes congregate living situations. Maintaining your distance and physical contact should keep you protected esp. outside.

I can't get through any day without a nap. I'm exhausted by 2 PM I lay down for about 60-90 min. Feel much better after that. that pneumonia with congestive heart failure and the bacteremia just wiped me out. Not as young as once was so it takes longer to rebound.

Put the P43 to sleep for the season and just installed the window A/C in the office - do NOT need to try to be working all day with the house in the 80's or even into the 90's (yes, inside - had two days last week that it got to 82* inside, and the outside temps were only in the high 80's). Outside temps are supposed to soar and humidity jump up starting Tuesday. Will install the portable A/C in the living room Monday night

Mowed both my and my neighbor's lawn this morning. Not that they were too bad (last mowed on Tuesday), but definitely don't want to mow during the week. They should be good until it cools off at the end of the week.

Too many of these bureaucrats want to be dictators and lord over folks.

This type of behavior will get them voted out really fast......
Myself, I am sick and tired of......Masks, shutdowns, stay home orders, media agendas, lying politicians, and bureaucrats.......

This mess has been not much more than an annoyance for us, but my daughter works in a salon doing nails and she has been off work since late March.....

No matter what the even is...be it a virus, flood, snow, drought, a train wreck....or just about anything and it is hyped to the extent that it is just insane......
    Sick and tired of it....

Was the CHF a temporary condition due to pneumonia or is it permanent? Naps are awesome, you deserve them :)

I really do not know. I am scheduled to see someone, a specialist, within a month. I've had fluid overload off and on for several months. I felt it was because I am too fat. But now my heart has enlarged and I am easily short of breath. The work up should be more telling.

Yes I am - otherwise wouldn't bother with the A/C yet. But my office has already been up in the low 80's - don't need it even warmer while I'm working 10-12 hours a day

We had a big work weekend around here mowing and cleaning,

Son in law is a Champ..he put in some serious seat time Sunday on the tractor mowing down blackberry bushes that had taken over a huge piece of real estate below the big barn.

I went after more of it yesterday myself. The daughter wanted to get a garden going, but the deer will ruin things quickly....so they built a fenced area to keep critters out.

Tried to get some stuff done on the Cat project, but the holiday stopped the access to materials needed (Steel)

Today it's back at it again....

No fire yesterday morning and this morning is acceptable in the house for now....The long range forecast is showing rain Saturday and then again later on...Night time temps are showing in the upper 40's at times.....stove season is not dead yet me thinks.....

Started the A/C's early this morning while it was still in the 50's outside. Managed to keep the office at 72* this afternoon (A/C is set at 69) with outside temp at 91*. Looks like the living room is the same so I should be able to shut them off once the sun goes down.
