They seems to have enough chicken for there rotisserie at the local IGA. But no whole roasters or fryers. There rotisserie birds were very small.

Ugggg! April 4th second shift case was officially tested positive. So we do have it in the building. Hopefully we have it under control with the full plant closure for Easter weekend and delouse.

But!! Yesterday they sent the whole engineering department home, Today they sent the Lotion molding crew home. In both cases there was a member of the group with symptoms that was sent for medical evaluation/testing. Nothing is confirmed that anyone may have it. But they are sending anyone in contact home as well.

We have nurse's checking temps at the door now and we are all wearing masks. Chit is too real now!! :hair:

The large company that I work for has had a couple of building closures, in MA, PA and another state. A closure just announced this morning and it is closed at least until Monday. Actually, they closed both building for that plant in NH. Everyone who can work from home, has been doing so for several weeks, and face coverings are mandatory if you have to be in a building. But someone has to make the widgets so the planes can fly, subs can navigate and ships have power, so it's inevitable that someone would test positive.

Also got news yesterday that the FIL: of one of the QE's in my group passed away from COVID-19.

Late this morning I take the Explorer in for inspection and swapping to summer tires - just in time for snow tomorrow :picard:. Probably won't get much nor will it last long. Since I'm doing my dump run and groceries today, won't need to be out tomorrow.

Speaking of running around - I filled both vehicles on March 13 and have only used about a 1/4 tank in each. When I finally have to go back to work in-office, and have to get gas in the car (which gets 450 miles to a tank) every 4 days - I'll be like WTF - I gotta stop and get gas again? :D

Speaking about not doing a lot of driving, one thing everybody should be doing is giving your car insurance company a call and ask for a (at least temporary) reduction in your rates. I've heard a number of companies are doing this since people really aren't doing much driving, and the ins. co's. risk is much lower. Called mine yesterday, and they are in the process of determining how much they are going to lower the premiums. Whatever it will be, it's a help.
