Three hour cleanup after a quick 2 inches of cement dumped. Thought I would shovel but that crud was sticking to the driveway like glue. After 40 minutes of getting nowhere fast finally got the snowblower from the basement and used it to get the heavy stuff and then scrape the driveway. Got most of it up and its much better than if I hadnt done all the work I had today.

This area is a mess. Lights flickered a few times while outside but power is still on.

Snowblower is back by the pellet stove to defrost again. Luckily basement is unfinished/cement floor so the melt off doesnt hurt anything.

The Boss would say stone because the shock mount for one of the rear tires broke on her trip to Keep Sake Quilting last month.

Found I have a new Corsair 512Gb M.2 NVME I never used so that will be going into it. All our PCs use M.2 NVME drives as the boot drives.

Just got cable and internet back. Didn't lose power though

Street still looks very icy so will be a long slow drive to the big city in a little while.

    For the NON GEEKS
NVMe....."None volatile memory" A solid state memory device that replaces the mechanical hard drive in your computer (Older hard drives use rotating discs that store all the data.. Everything from the Operating system (Win or Linux or??) to all your pictures, downloads...EVERYTHING.

No moving parts...and faster than greased lightning.

    Cool stuff

Well, I wasn't at work today, but I did spend 8 hours at a volunteer position. At least it wasn't my regular job!

BJ's run Pellet Run and Juice Run so off to New Hampster I went .
Grabbed a ton of Ambiance as it has been a few years since I have burn them and its just a hop to get to Brookline NH .
Burning good so far as I gave the P68 a good cleaning before I dumped a few bags of Ambiance in to see how these hardwoods burn. Dropping quick the temp that is and somewhat windy which is always not good for this old house. Dinner soon so a few cocktails before then dinner and some TV then it crash time to get some shuteye before I get up for work which will an hour later than usual 4 instead of 3.

Hope all are well ambinace_load.jpg burn.jpg

Getting real anxious to get the Snow cat home.

Sadly its on a trailer and in a very soggy spot...waiting for the weather to dry some.

Got a few more pix yesterday....

Wanting to get some measurements off the chassis (I did) to allow me to figure out where I can cut the chassis, axles and the tub to narrow this bad boy up.

Got to make it 26" narrower.

    Gonna be fun
