I feel your pain with the small basement / rotation of pellets thing. I finally uncovered so Lignetic Golds I've had for a couple years. Once I get thru them, I still have original Okie golds on the bottom of the that stack. I got those Okies probably 4 years ago.

And to make it worse, I have a 10% off $100 purchase coupon for TSC that expires on Sunday so figure I'll get another 25 bags (although those can go out in the garage for now).

Weather has warmed up a bit and decided to do a mid winter deep clean on the big stove.

Ripped out the baffles, fire brick, exhaust fan and went into the innards with a long wa wa brush (Long large bottle brush) to really clear the back passages good.

I purchased some high temp silicone gaskets for the exhaust fan too....The Lytherm gaskets suck...one time use and then no second trip for these..

Got everything cleaned out and the fan all blown out and re-oiled too
Then the LBT big time...replace the baffles and the fire brick and LBT again to clear the area over and around the fire tubes.

Oh yeah buddy.....fire burns sooooo much better now.....
From now until late spring it will be only standard cleaning every other week.

We still have a 4 barrels of old stock shells that had a lot of fines and crap in them....I will be sooooooooooooooooooooooo glad when that crap is gone.

That load had a lot of dust, husks, waaaaaaaaaaay lotsa sticks and dirt.

The screen bucket gets the husks and sticks out, but the non burning junk makes for clinkers and a lot of extra ash.

Gonna be nice to be on the material that we get after running the half shells through Munchy.....
Little to no dust and far less ash.

After this work was done it was time for a general clean on the little stove....
Little dude is pretty easy...no big ash baffles, only the fire box, ash pan and then a quick suck with the LBT
A quicky for the windows with an SOS PAD and a Squirt or two of Fantastic cleaner.

    Sweeeeeeeeeeeeet...good to go.

Other than needing a good wash all over for me....all done.

As I type this morning my little buddy keeps tabs on the coffee cup....

I have room for over 20 ton in my garage. I don't understand the lack of space issue.

Went to the torture chamber to have the girls squished in several different angles first thing this morning. Afterwards they have the nerve to tell me that I really need to go for an ultrasound because they wouldn't be able to tell until way too late if anything was wrong because apparently I am too dense :faint:. (Gals will get this, guys, probably not so much).

Washed both vehicles today to get the salt off. Some of the back roads I run on my commute are nearly white with all the salt (and parts of those roads have new blacktop, so you know the salt was heavy for those to turn white).

Cleaned both stoves - a medium type cleaning, doing everything but the exhausts. Fairly warm and the sun was mostly out, so a great day to do that. Now waiting for the stoves to need to fire up to see the quality of the flame to tell me if I put everything back together correctly.

EDIT - got Powerball tickets and worked on my taxes too. I don't have paperwork from my former employer (I worked for them 1 week in 2019), but using my last pay stub from them I at least was able to verify that I will get a refund. I was nervous because when I started working for my current employer, I got bumped into another tax bracket.

I was watering my inside plants and noticed what I thought was a ball of cat hair on the rosemary that is in the bathroom window. Once I got my readers on, I saw it was flowering.

I've previously had rosemary that never bloomed in the 5 years I had it. Heck, I assumed rosemary didn't bloom.

I bought a seedling in September 2019, at Agway, and potted it up to overwinter inside. I am shocked it not only bloomed, but it is in a cold place (garden window in the bathroom stays in low 60's behind the curtain).

You guys are just lucky they don't squish your parts in every angle for xrays ! :faint:

Also SmokeyTheBear , I was given a lesson from a dryer vent baffle manufacturer, VERY nice man and I understand better the air pressure difference with my pellet stove that you have talked about now. Thanks.

I just had to sit through a mandatory Sexual harassment training class today so I must refrain from posting any synonyms, emoji's or outward laughter that could be misinterpreted as any type of smatass innuendo. :D
