We have a local "EATEMUP" that offers Prime rib benedicts...yum yum
I love the prime benny and a load of tader tots.....

Every couple weeks we stop off on a Sat or Sun morning at a place call "THE SOUTH STORE"
This joint has it's roots dating back to the real early 1900's when it was a general store.

It's located only about 4 miles from our place.

They are now a specialty diner.
Baked goods that are to die for...
The have two top notch chefs that prepare the food...no line cooks.
    The pastries are absolutely awesome.
A plate of scrambled eggs need a brick on them to keep them from floating away.
Specialty coffee, mochas, breve...yada yada yada. Or just a cup of good old joe..

They open at 9:00 sharp on the weekends and if you are not in the parking lot (very small) by 8:30 you will not get a parking spot... Wait too long and several of the goodies will be gone.

Some items are made in a limited quantity (Cinnamon rolls...they make one huge tray full..that's it for the day) They do not want any left overs...

Many items are of French vernacular and will usually have a little tag that translates WHAT IT IS...OTHER THAN YUMMY.

    Cool place.
    No two chairs are alike.
The tables are a mix of mismatched items from the early 1900's up through the 50's
The atmosphere is charming to say the least...eat here once and YOU WILL BE BACK

I fully understand the paw problems.....
After my stroke my right paw is not really good with screws either.

Having had to learn to write with the south paw made things interesting...

Right one has major functions....but the fine motor control is not there any more.

    Ah well...

Glad your puter is up and running

What a day! There is a strong breeze and it feels and smells like spring outside. 56 degrees out currently. Current forecast calls for 65 tomorrow.

    That's good news.
I managed to hobble into Best Buy. I picked up a new wi-fi system. I say system because it has three units that you place in you home at different places. I have so many smart devices all running at once. Plus my son and family upstairs on on my system. I want to set up two networks so he can use only one and I the other. I hate what lies ahead of me going in and changing all those network names for my devices. I think I'll take the guest network and make it password protected.

Got up to 63* today - a fine day to clean the stoves (everything but the exhaust). Did some running around in the big city (Concord), and went to the dump. Feels like I did more than that because I didn't stop to read or anything, but I'll be darned if I can remember what. Oh yea, took the Explorer for a good washing. Used the DIY bay so I could make sure the underneath got good and cleared of the salt.

Oh I agree....... to an extent.
I would LOVE to have a full size 6.2L Dual Exhaust monster like my other half's 2019 GMC AT4 but they are WAYYYY too :makeitrain" for me.

And its a damm tin can that dents or scratches if you look at it the wrong way. Only a few months old and has paint chips, a dent from resting the arm of an elliptical on it and a few light scratches from who knows what (I think a mosquito blew by it or something)

That AT4 is fun as all heck to drive but my SUV with a birth defect has 210K trouble free miles on it-I am not so sure I can get that from GM, Ford or Ram. Love the looks of American trucks but REALLY nervous about buying one

Also, the new tailgate on the GMC is very cool and useful but I am leery that it is all electric latches to operate it. Lets see how long that works or heaven forbid you get hit in the back, its going to be $$$ to repair or replace.

This thing has so much electronics including Heads Up Display on the windshield and at least 10 cameras all around (there are views of each wheel for parking) I had her take the 7 year 125K warranty. She should get at least 5-6 years out of it and will be covered if anything doesnt work.
