    That is correct.

Ended with about 7 inches, ground was still warm enough to melt a small amount into ice.

The long stretch of basically dry weather is coming to an end.

Rain starting this morning and then more rain on an off over the next many days.

November is normally very wet for us at around 5 inches for the month.
Looking at the forecasts it looks like IF IT ALL PANS OUT we might see 2-3 inches of rain for the month.

Least rainfall on record for November goes back to November 1976 at just under 3/4"
A BIT OF MOISTURE WILL BE GREAT.

    GOT SOME NEW "LOOKERS"

Glasses were getting really scuffed up and to the point that they were giving me head aches and yucky tummy.. :(
Finally decided to step up and bite the bullet.

Went to my fav optical shop and got an exam.... arrrrrrgh
They can never seem to get it right....or at least on the first round.
I have the progressives (Trifocal) and there is always an issue.

Well this time (After a 5 minute rant at the Dr) the Rx came out spot on.

Sadly the gal that measured things to get the lenses in the frames correctly and to locate where the mid and close range correction is located got the close in reading way too far down, to the point I had to lift the frame to use that area....NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WAY.
Sent them back and got them back yesterday afternoon.

    I hate changing glasses.

I had had the last RX for 3 years and once the brain gets used to where to look for stuff it does not like to change...:picard:

Got up this morning and with rested eyes things are much better with the "New lookers"

I tried regular trifocals back many years and that was not gonna happen.

So hopefully I am good to go now.

Another growling point are the frames.

I find frames I like and the next time they don't offer them....

I like the aviator style frames with lenses big enough to use the various powers easily.

    I hate the trendy stuff......
Just want stuff that feel and work good.

Finally found some that were So So...but I like the unibridge type nose piece rather than the two pad type...."Oh we don't have those"

Can I scream now ??????

The Harman ate a full bag of EZBlaze last night. 17 degrees and breezy this morning I came down to the stove nearly out. fixed the funneling issue and it perked up!

it's been a busy fall what with yard work, pellet deliveries, and an excavation project at the Zagray Farm underway.

With both draglines running the 3 yard loader with 2 trucks on a 3 mile cycle could not keep up! In the Erie is Joe Turko, and in the Northwest 80D is 90 year old George Jarvis! Still getting it done!
