I would love to have spanky new Harmon in my place...they run sweet on shells...
I CAN'T afford the purdy Harmon.

I have to sniff around craigs list and buy the old stuff and fix em up.. :(

I’m built to a standard, not a price. Or something.

13 bags of pellets used in October. Most in the P43 (main floor stove).

Strong winds here last night, took nearly all remaining oak leaves down. Fun weekend ahead. This should just about do it for fall leaf duty this year.

Was not quite as chilly last night...ran the Big Whit solo on the night haul.... family room was fine this morning...but the other end of the house was at 65 F at 5 am.

Fired up Weeeee stove and things should be getting toasty soon.

Been dry and cool here for a week now.... leaves ares falling in heaps too.

Had to fetch up a full barrel of shells yesterday from the barn....

Thinking seriously about making another shell run this coming week....
As soon as we have enough empty barrels we will do it....
Will have 5 empties by late Sunday..... We do have some extra empties....so with the good weather we need to gitterdone before the rain comes back with a vengeance.

Was 84* here yesterday, but woke up to 39* this morning. :shiver: UNLIKE!

Huge T-Storms went through yesterday too, Halloween trick-or-treating in my neighborhood was cancelled until tonight.

On a good note, rain & wind brought a good bit of the leaves around my place to the ground. Time for the Gator blades on the tractor to do their thing. Probably will need 2-3 more rounds before I put the tractor to bed for the winter. :tractor:

The old Galaxy S5 was not allowed to download my upcoming trip information because it wasn't up to the website's snuff. Used that as an excuse to upgrade. Been looking for a couple of weeks, mainly at the S10, but even refurbs were too pricey for my liking (I got the S5 as a refurb, so that part doesn't scare me - just price). Then last weekend I found and ordered a NEW Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus off FleaBay. I figured even if it isn't the latest model, the price at $359 was just too good to pass up.

The seller said it would be here by today, but it was in my mailbox yesterday when I got home

Took it to US Cellular a little while ago and the swap-aroo went without a hitch. Now to get used to the differences like swiping up/down to find apps and getting my settings the way I want them #First World problems ;)

Yes,"pellethead" is "Earth Sense Energy Systems"(ESES), and Mountainview Hearth is "Stove Parts Unlimited",probably the 2 biggest sellers of parts,in our country. As I want to fix my sisters P68 while I am here house sitting,I drove to Mountainview today, and picked up a control board,as they are not open on weekends. People were very friendly(same as when you call them),and got to see their "new" warehouse ,I think it is less than a year old. And is very full. When they say they have it in stock, they do!Anyway, warmer tomorrow,so hope to shut stove down and do some tests and checks.

Yup, it's the old frog in boiling water. You don't realize that it's getting louder until you realize that the Tv is up real loud and you and you wife say "WHAT?" a lot more!
