It is! I can't believe they got the title to me so fast since I just wrote and mailed the check last Friday.

Bought it new late December 2018. By using Ford Credit, I got another $1k off the price, but had a 6.9% interest rate (I could have gotten 3.9% using other sources, but no $1k off the price of the car that way). Figured if I could pay it off in 4-6 months, I would still save money so that was the goal. I paid out a total of $355 in interest in the 6 months of the loan. So doing some rough math (dividing the interest paid in half and subtracting that from the $1k), my savings on the car was around $822.

Before I bought the car, I had planned on paying off the truck by this time (owed about the same on it as what I financed on the car). But the truck has a 3.2% interest rate so held onto that loan instead.

Many of the ads you see for manufacture discounts require you finance with them at higher rates.

You were lucky enough to pay off in several months but $355 interest in 6 months is still quite a bit-had it gone full term it would be

Another way around this for the majority that need 4-6 years to pay off is take the discount on their financing, then re finance at a local credit union for low interest after a month or two.

The TPMS is nice though... at least you are forewarned of the pending flat tire.

Our AVY has that system, but somebody swapped the wheels from a GMC that don't have the sensors....so the things is on all the time.

With all the crap we had going on this past week those flashing YELLOW LIGHTS on the dash do get me upset.

Especially the SES LAMP followed by the ding ding ding and the Stab trak warnings on the DIC :fart::fart::hair:

Another cool cloudy morning here in the NW

65 F in the shack again and the weee stove with the new controller is burning away.

Built a fire yesterday afternoon and as I opened the door to clear the pot and toss in and light some shells, I hear a BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZING sound.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat the heck is that, panel is off ?????

About that time a bad azz bumble bee comes hauling tail out into the room :fart:

Just what I want to deal with..... NOT

Bee heads to the skylight in the kitchen...I grab the vacuum hose and plug into the nearest port in the floor, stick on the loooooong suck pipe and snag said bee from up yonder.

Bumbles are pretty benign but the cat was locked and loaded for the chance to get the bee...... sorry kitty.....
Bee sent to the can in the basement and the fire started.

IF YOUR STOVE IS A HUMMIN ...DON'T OPEN THE DOOR :bug:

My g/f AVY TPMS hasnt worked for a while since the batteries ran out on one sensor. She doesnt want to spend the $$ to replace as it gets expensive and eve our tire guy plus my mechanic says the same.

Have to diagnose a rough engine on the AVY this weekend-just started a few days ago and is likely (hopefully) the #1 plug as that one fowls every so often due to design flaws on the 5.3L engine. I have mitigated the issue a bit by putting in the modified valve cover (modified PVC system in the cover). Has had no issue in 2 years and hoping this is the plug again as its an easy fix.

And yea she says all the lights have come on with the rough engine
