Oh man, ice, that is the worse! Most times that happens we have power outages, sometimes for a few days. Trees lean over into the road so it is impassibl. No one to call to come trim them up except during the 4 days the office is open. ironic, but in bad weather, they are closed!
I try to keep a salt sand mix to toss out ahead of me as I try to get to the car in the garage.
This winter started out with a lot of ice. Now, we are over our heads in snow. Infact it is snowing now. Hope you don't fall and injure yourself.

Ouch !! That is a royal PITA !!

I prefer sand only as I dont like salt on the driveway. I can get all I want at the town yard but I need to drive around back to the huge truck piles for the non salted stuff.

Snowing again up here and expecting 12-18 inches again. Seems to be a weekly blockbuster storm lately where 6" is now considered a dusting  But, its been lighter stuff and I would take this over ice any time.

Soooooo, when did we move to Buffalo, NY ? :headbang:

I hear ya man , I think this is the 3rd Monday in a row where I called out of work due to weather , but with a 45 mile commute ,it's not worth the risk of having an accident .
I grew up in the Buffalo area ,I can relate :D:handshake:

Global warming, it's a great idea!
If global warming were actually on the table, the pool & spa industry would invest millions..

I've raked my roof more than I've cleaned my stove. Once I bring it out its hours before I see it again. All my neighbors seem to think I provide free rentals on roof rakes. Well at least its getting good use and Its paid for itself 3 fold. Better be some free beer come spring or I'm crashing parties! :p

I draw the line with the snow blower. I send my kid over with a shovel. Keeps em off the video games and he usually brings home cash, Me I get a thanks and a see ya wave. Go figure!!
