I had to hit Rt 101 today and I was amazed at the wind! Poor tractor trailer guys were having a tough time staying in their lanes!.
Actually looking forward to the cold temps this week. I may be able to crank the Accentra for more than a few minutes. Man this thing throws some serious heat! I've been on Room Temp set at 66 with the ignitor in manual so the stove never shuts down. Living room stays close to 70 and the rest of the house around 65. 1 bag of pellets in 24 hours.

Not exactly familiar with that particular one, but isn't there an easily removable cover
over the belt area... usually plastic.
If you take that cover off, you should see the belt and idler pulley,
which is spring loaded, that is how you can adjust the tension on the belt,
usually takes care of slippage, which can cause the machine to appear "weak"..
Also lets you see the condition of the belt.. snotek.jpg
    Just a thought..

    NEW RELAY ARRIVED :ups:

I got the little bugger in and connected.

Had to replace one with that was about 4 inches long as it needed 3/16 spade terminals instead of the 1/4 inch.

I stuck the relay into the location with double sided tape. to keep from having to drill holes in and amongst all the wires :hair:

Plugged the unit in and EVERYTHING works just as it should without LED's glowing faintly and other stuff getting hinky...

    Ready for PRIME TIME

I like this unit so well I decided to get another box just like it and build a unit for the Little Whitfield Prodigy II

I have a complete operating panel for the P2 but this unit is far better....and I hate the box I used on the smaller unit.

I can use most of the parts from the original box in the new one.

I want to change to a 6 position heat selector instead of what I had.

I also want to use LED panel lamps and a different Fan control unit.

Just a cleaner build and have more parts that are the same as the one I just finished.

Keeping parts interchangeable is always handy.

LH part is the new relay....RH is the Solid state unit.

That does not tell the whole story. You have to take the attachment off the body, which entails removing all the cabling for the chute controls. Or at least that is what I get from the directions. I don't know, I'm not a mechanically inclined person. It took me 2 hours to get the gas drained from the tank and get the spark plug unplugged. Then when I re-installed the cage, it didn't go together right so now I can't get one of the bolts back in.

This is why I take my vehicles to experts - they are experts, have the tools and know what they are doing. I know squat and really don't care to know more.

Edit: I just confirmed that in order to get one of the bolts to the cover off, I have to remove the chute and all its hardware. Which is what decided me not to try to tear into it further. Mechanics charge more if you took it apart and can't get it back together yourself.

Always best to be honest with yourself when it comes to tackling any job...
More than one time a person has made things worse, by "thinking" something was easy.
