    Good question , but it will be difficult to compare last year to this . I changed jobs and our gross income was several K less than lasts years . The check I have to write this year is about a $100 less than last, bottom line is I say it's a wash for us , maybe different for others .

    DAWNED COLD AND CLEAR 25 F this morning.

    Forgot to drain the water feed pipe in the barn last night, ....but there was little ice on any water buckets and the hose did not freeze....yessssssssssssssss.

    The lowland fog lifted by 9 am and then hung right on the Mt. all day...ARRRRRRRGH.

    We hauled 3 barrels of shells up and ran them through MUNCHY.

    We are ready now for the next big weather maker heading this way.

    Tomorrow and Wed is gonna be busy, so decided to clean the big stove this afternoon.

    Left the fans run longer than normal to cool it off good.

    Cleared the ash from the fire box and the baffles, did the LBT real good and got the beast back on line...

    Good to go.

    If not today it was gonna be Thursday, and the ashes were beginning to fall in on the fire...not good.

    Soooooo. JUST GITTERDONE...

    came home to an empty Quad :whistle: 6f outside 60f inside the better half is not happy. then I spring the cost of my addition to pcb repair. the idle breckwell may have to be moved into my shop:eek:

    I still work at a country club , just a different one . It was time to make a change , I'm at a club where I worked 18 years ago , so it's like I went back to where it all started . It was the right move for me .

    Lots of different designs,seen em all,being a mechanic.My summer astro is AWD,viscous coupling,my jeep pickup is AWD,Quadratrak,basicly a limited slip differential inside the transfer case,my winter astro I installed S10 transfer case and front diff,so it is true 4wd,and,my 99 astro(if I ever get it running,lol) is the newer AWD,uses a pluse motor to apply front diff,just like subarus.My old Ramcharger was AWD,203.
