Oh Heck Yeah ! love it when a somewhat educated guess (gut feeling) works out, cleaned the upstairs stove today and decided to install the new ESP and Voilia the P68 is burning like a fire breathing dragon again should I call upon it. Regulates the lower temperatures perfectly once again so I am happy. Now down to the cellar I go and heck why not, got a good thing going GO FOR IT ! gonna PAM the P43 and see what happens as its warming up so no big deal if it does not work just means I will have to shut it down, sand, wax and restart but all of this is after a good cleaning .

Stay warm the warmer weather is just around the corner ....

    Edit:
Jeez where does time go, wife has dinner in the oven and running out to get some more Tito"s so Ill suspend the PAM experiment until tomorrow after church and before the game which I will be only seeing one half of as I can't stay up as have to much going on Monday at work. Gonna start demo and alot of crap is not right that I have to make right with a clear mind not a sleep depraved hung over one at that .

Heck gotta call Monday and see if the Gentleman in Maine has a Hobby evaporator available as it is time to tap the trees and make some Maple Syrup. Can't do it on the stove as I use to use my wood stove to do it making 4-5 gallons a year which we use for all our sweet mostly coffee but a lot of baking as well. Miss it big time and will have to get some tubing and taps as well if this is gonna work . Long shot but would really like to get this together

Leg all better, shoulder almost better, tractor chain fixed, drove across hill and finished digging out neighbor, freebe(not his fault chain broke),got stuck, slid off hill, pulled myself back up with the hoe, snapped a link on other chain, lol. But,got my own driveway/property widened with the hoe,as we got several storms heading our way.Did widen part of the road below me,that takes us to the county road, not a single neighbor has called and thanked me.Oh,well.The link that broke will not be a big deal, gonna have to wait till tomorrow, even if it is snowing,as I am bushed.Oh,stopped off and visited with neighbors on way home,no sense working myself to death.

Looks like a control panel in a 1950's sci fi rocket ship.

That makes my head spin just reading it. I sure for those who know it is very informative and creative. But for me, when something goes now, I call the repairman, or order a replacement. Saves me a lot of anxiety.

That picture was taken by the real estate agent for the house that is way left of center in the picture. Just out of the picture on the left is the old Machiasport canning plant on Madison Street where my mother used to work. I know the area well.

Eastport has some of the highest tides in the world, I spent my youth there.

Did not realize that, far enough north that the tides are huge. Most people will never see that.

I saw it plenty. My parents both worked in canning plants as did one set of grandparents. My mother's parents lived on water street overlooking the bay. My brother and I also worked in a canning plant.

Just got back from a 40 minute trip each way to fix a pellet jamb on a castle Serenity for my wife's co worker ( single mom and only source of heat ) Man what a hot mess, she had a friend install the stove, no wall thimble passing through drywall the stove was filthy. She only got the stove in Nov. and has put over 3 ton through it with out a deep clean. She tried removing the auger motor and snapped one of the bolts. Spent 4 hrs. There taking care of everything other than the wall thimble but she has heat again. Told her she needs to get the wall thimble taken care of asap.

The no thimble is a major safety concern.

Props for helping out a new Pellet roaster there, Rich. Hopefully she takes your advice, and gets that install fixed.

    * If a wall thimble is needed, I got a spare 3" thimble set here not doing anything - don't want any $$$ for it / let me know, and we can work out the shipping.

yeah I explained that to her , If it wasn't her only source of heat I would not have fixed the stove without installing a thimble. I offered to install the stove for her when she got it but she went ahead and had this friend do it anyway.
