I am just staying inside. It is still snowing here. Seems to come in bursts like showers do. I have not seen the plow come down our road today. (dead end) we are low on their priority list. Can't say I blame them if they have to pick and choose what is best for the most. That didn't work well for us once when my wife was having contractions in the 4th month of her gestation. Finally the plow came and dug out 10 inches of snow. My dad came in with his big Lincoln and off to the hospital we went. (too late) but wife was ok after emergency surgery.

TGIF big time after a double shift on Wednesday trying times at work to say the least and when i crashed early last night thinking I was going to wake up to somewhere between 1"-4" of snow as I checked the accuweather timeline and 3" was the total, there was 10" of the chit on the ground. Of course as I thought I would just jump in my 4 wheel drive and motor off along with my wife jumping in her new Jeep I just bought her doing the same thing as she has a Christmas show for her business I realized at 3:10 that was not going to happen. 24" snowbank at the end of the drive and it was a hard mofo and had to be removed.

The Mrs. has been stressing all week about the show including having me do some work for her on the morning I was home after doing a double I knew had I not done anything she would be throwing the jeep in 4WD and slamming the snowbank to get to her show leaving the front cowling of the Jeep right there in the driveway . In addition my rescue Yorkie with the 4" legs would need somewhere to do her business I started shoveling in the backyard for her and realized I was really hurting from the PT last night and this was probably not a good idea. Kept that to a minimal and headed to the driveway and started shoveling and man it was not pleasant, so at 3:30 I said to myself its time for the snowblower and the neighbors will have to deal with it cause I was not going to hurt myself again to be polite.

As mentioned earlier I was not prepared in any way including getting the snowblower ready for some work so there I was with a flash light using stale gas trying to get my snowblower started(pulling the starter repeatedly with my left hand) and it would not start. I only used this snowblower a few times last year as I bought it at the end of the season last year so I thought to myself do I have all the switches right choke,on/off,fuel I could not remember so I looked closer and there was an sequence illustration for starting the sucker and at the end it showed a button hmmmm this button to start (light bulb lights) heck this thing has an electric start ! So I dumped some more of the worlds greatest invention since duct tape (seafoam) into the tank ran an extension cord to the snowblower . Cranked that baby until some of the seafoam made it to the carb and it fired right up and ran like a champ for me. Did the driveway, texted work told them I would be late loaded both the stoves with pellets and off to work I went which was better than I thought although not much fun.

So I repeat myself TGIF !!!
Home made Pizza night with the Wife and some good drink TGIF for everyone!!

Geez, I was thinking of something I could tell y'all about the stove...or pellets...or sumthin'. I realized I got nothin new. That's good, right? So, since I was here last, let's see. My son in law's brother is a house flipper and he bought a piece of property that had been abandoned for 17 years. In the garage was a bunch of junk and one 1982 Harley FLH that was all apart. It was rusty and dirty. He asked if I wanted it and I said sure. I putted around all summer and by September I had it running and on the road again. It was a fun project and now it's all put away for the winter and I'm anxious for some warm weather in the spring. I am going to try to post a couple pictures from Imgur and see if they come out...

Wow - can't beat that with a stick. Nothing like a free Harley (except for elbow grease, time and probably some parts). Nice!

Mine started with the cold too. Sometimes it will go out after driving a bit and the tires warm up. 09 Honda Ridgeline with originals so the batteries are dying. Mechanic and even the place I buy tires say leave them be.

I was going to do that until yesterday sn*w and I found out the I cannot turn off stability control-which is the 1st thing I do while driving in crud :headbang:

I love my Ryobi battery operated pump - takes care of the tire pressure issues quickly, is light, and no hauling out my big compressor to fill an air tank, then finally getting to fill tires. Haven't had the compressor out since I bought the Ryobi a couple of years ago.

Last night I sn*w-blew the driveway, up to the tent garage, and the road down to the mailbox. Also shoveled most of the ramp to the back door but ran out of want-to. Need to finish that up this morning plus dig out the gates to the pen ibehind the house. Will not do all the paths as there will be a lot of melting going on. I'm hoping most melt, then when the next freeze hits it will give a good solid base for future path making.

    Thanks Rob!

That forum is great and been a go to for me since I bought the truck but I was too tired to search for anything last night. This week has been hard on this getting older body.

Hmmm, wonder what pulling the TPMS fuse will do? A little knowledge can be dangerous :D
