Look up the monk fruit claims.
Monk Fruit vs. Stevia: Pros and Cons
I also use stevia, I'm not diabetic, but I am grossly overweight. Most sugar subs. actually have a negative impact on weight loss. The Monk fruit doesn't do that. It isn't new, just new to us. being natural won't get it advertised.

We use Stevia, erythritol and monk fruit. All have a glycemic index of zero, but you have to try them to see if they give you symptoms like gas or bloating.

Like using pork rinds ground up in the food processor as a coating for fried chicken (fried in lard, so yummy and one the the best fats to cook in) and in meatloaf.

I checked my pickup today, it has 2, 4h and 4l. That said I was trying to pull a neighbor's son out of the driveway in 2011, and not all 4 wheels turned like my Blazer. I was told to not go over 35 mph in 4 and to take it back to 2 when arriving on paved roads. Idk, maybe those are old rules for the Blazer (still have to back it up after unlocking the hubs and putting back into 2) ?

I tried a few bags of the LG Supers at the end of last season. They were good; similar to LG and Crabbe, only with less ash. Liked them, and would buy again.

Agreed, the LGs were very good. Packaging, product, all good. Never tried the energex 100% Softies. Russell and Luneyburg have and I believe PelletHound just picked some up too. One of these days I’ll get around to giving them a try. Maybe a swap with one of these guys.

Beautiful day today. Did the second full pass on leaf pickup in a t-shirt. Couldn’t ask for nicer October weather.

    Well now.
The other day (While back) I snapped a picture of the expanded metal grille work on the back of our Whitfield advantage 2T.

When I looked at the piccy I saw a fair bit of shell pieces (Small size) on the floor of the mechanical cabinet.

    NOT GOOD...WE GOT A LEAK

This morning I tore into the beast and discovered that the silicone goop the mfg used to seal the lower end of the auger tube and the auger mounting plate had a small hole on the one side.

To get at the issue required removing the convection fan.... the fan squirrel cage was very dirty and the blades were really full of crap.

Took the fan out and blew it all out good and then cleaned up the area of silicone that was leaking...

A good vacuum job on the interior of the cabinet and then add silicone to the needed area.

All back together now and ready for prime time....

Decided to clean the firebox while I was dirty and had the vacuum out and on site.

Fan sounds much better now and moves a buttload more air too.

Plugged the beast in and hit the go button and all good to go now.

We have been using the little stove this fall so far and will not need the big one for a month maybe...just depends on the weather..

Stove season is getting much closer....ahhhh..2 stove season I should say

Burned a ton last year and liked them, gave off good heat were extremely consistent with low fines. Were not what I expected when I opened them up as they were much darker than expected.
I grabbed them for $259 and would do again all day long at that price, now they are up to $289 which I would pass on and grab some La Crete's or North Country's instead.
If I remember correctly they were pretty low ash as well, much better than what I was seeing with North Country and before I was sidelined I had spoke to dealer about having 10 ton of them delivered to the house for this winter.

    Good pellet

Over the years we have tried all the local brands of pellets (Local stuff is almost entirely Douglas Fir)
We do occasionally see some Pine pellets from the Eastern part of Oregon, and once in a while we see some stuff from across the country.

Years ago we bought a few tons of HEARTLAND pine, and they were great..

The pine burned hot and clean.

These days the local stuff generally sells near $300 when we get into the winter.

Right now I see the local farm store selling for $209 Ton for Bear Mt and $214 for Goldenfire

We will grab a few bags of Bear Mt to use mostly as fire starter for the shell burners and possibly for the Quad if it gets nasty cold and we need all three stoves.

I can start with shells, but I use PROPANE torch and a poof of smoke in the room from the shells smells like ya had a wreck in the kitchen .... Plus a handful of pellets will lite quick and they will make a nice bed of coals so the shells can catch and go...

After wrenching on the big Whit yesterday I decided to do a test run this morning just to make sure all is well.

Beast lit right off and went to work...

Cleaning the room air fan really improved the airflow a bunch.

Some pix of the beast doing its job

That’s a nice install. Is that a skin on the wall? If yes, what’s it from?

    Thank you for the compliment.

    Not a skin.
    Taped and painted.

Simply decided on the design we wanted, grabbed a tape measure and marked some start points and datum lines to get the design going and then using the blue masking tape..... JUST WENT FOR IT.

Decided on the colors and then got creative with the smudges to sort of imitate the look of real brick that's aged.

I can't find the original pics of the big hearth, but here is what we did with the little stove on the other end of the house.

The gray fireplace look was a morph on a huge fireplace design I saw online taken from a huge log home.

The shape of the wood box is a tracing around a plastic storage box that was nearby.
Grabbed the box, stood it up and like the size, traced the outline with a pencil and then taped it off.

I used a half used roll of masking tape as the pattern for the little logs.

Dab the paint on the wall between the tape with natural sponge and zoooop ...instant fireplace..

I burn Heartland. We've had to supplement with a ton of Rocky Mountian's here and there, they pale in comparison to Heartland.
