Need to fill mine. HHO jumped .20 in the last week while the doom and gloom report is for 20% higher pricing this winter
Gonna be another winter of more pellets than oil. I currently have 4 ton (all good stuff) and will likely haul a few half ton loads from big box.

Wait, maybe get em from Henry instead. Pete Zahria what ya got for less than pallet pickup?

Although the P43 has been set up on the thermostat for several weeks, keeping the main floor warm, I had not yet tested the P61a set up from when I moved it. Tested it earlier and found a smoke leak at the connection to the stove. Stupid me, I had used foil tape since it matches the exhaust. But even having several wraps, I must have had some wrinkles in it which allowed a tiny bit of smoke to work its way out.

So, I shut her right down and once cooled, removed all the foil tape and wrapped with silicone tape. Works gooder now. Probably won't be run until later in the week. It is still 64.5* down there, which is good enough until I want warm floors on the main floor.

Running oil right now. Still too warm for the stove or else it'll cycle like crazy.

Still on NG... too poor to buy pellets until my November gubment welfare check arrives.

Took a week vacation and took a peek at the USS Wisconsin... pretty teary eyed deal as that was the last ship my Dad served on in 1946. I kissed the teak deck like he said he always did when he boarded her. Brought along his seabag with all the notations of the ships he served on and all the ports he visited. That was a popular item for the volunteer crew to look at... most had never seen one like that... someday I may donate it to the Nauticus museum.

Thanks again Bogie am extremely appreciative , I am being truthfully careful seems that months and months of agony made it through even my thick skull.
Still fight for sleep but have started one strengthening exercise working with Massive 3lb dumbbell :emb: Ridiculously long road to recovery that just does not want to end 4-5 weeks more of PT and still doing an hour + of exercises everyday that I will have to continue to do (so sick of doing them). Little by little getting better so that I am grateful for but have to remain careful as you have mentioned not to over do it as most of us have our entire lives.

Clear X-treme silicone tape. Fortunately had bought some before moving the stove, so had it on hand. Heck, I had already used some of it to wrap the bend joints of the 90* elbows plus I used the black on the P43, so don't know why I got the metal tape and used that for the straight joints.

Mine just cycles every couple of hours - even with no sun. It definitely helps that we haven't had any wind for the last week (dead calm - strange)

We have had a fair amount of wind for the last few days which is always a factor in the old farmhouse. Have been running the 68 during the evening to take the chill and dampness out of the house on very low then just shut it down as I head out the door at 3:30 in the morning for work .
Might have to set it on temp for the week to keep the furry ones warm during the upcoming week as its going to be a bit chillier. Just cannot force myself to run the oil burner, just had the once a year tank fill a few weeks ago and that is primarily to heat hot water for the Super Store tank. Prefer to run constant burn regardless but until it gets cold will have to set it to temp.

Still leaves on the trees but they are dropping fairly good but with the leaves and all the trees I have surrounding my house if its 50* outside it will be 50* inside my house if I don't run my stove. Even after the leaves drop I have so many trees that I really don't get much help from solar, which is great in the summer rarely ever have to run ac downstairs but not so great in the winter.

You mean CO, which is far different than CO2. Far different.

Muscle mass in general decreases with age and some statins do not cause as much if any muscle loss it is a by party and statin crap crap shoot.[/QUOTE]

The reason the Dr put me on the Statins was the worry of another stroke...

My Kidney Dr/Surgeon told me right up front that my stroke was the result of the huge azz tumor that was in my left kidney (Kidney removed 4/1/13) and that he was not a real fan of the statins at all.

My cholesterol levels have always been in the 250 range since I was a teenager and I decided that the statins needed to go away.

The worst of the muscle pain went away over a few months, but the weakness remained and has increased.

At the time of my kidney surgery I was walking 2-3 miles a day at the local school track.

After we started the statins my ability to walk any distance dropped to zip within a month.

Even now after 3 plus years off the statins I am barely able to walk 200 yards down to the horse barn and back up....

I can do it, but it requires a rest stop... (12% grade)

Age certainly is a factor, but when you watch 2-3 miles go away within such a very short time you have to ask WHAT ????????

The BP meds were nearly as bad.

I finally said ENOUGH and decided that quality of life is better than quantity....

If all I can do is sit around and feel like chit ...I don't want any part of it..

The damage was done....so now all I can do is make the best of it.

Sad part is, all the artery studies they did showed CLEAR PLUMBING.

If I had been all clogged up with plaque then maybe the drugs would have been in order, but with clear arteries the drugs make zero sense.

    Ahhhh well...such is life...

    Yesterday was a good day...
The NEW TO US Avalanche had an annoying noise in the front end that really sounded like a bad wheel bearing.

So I ordered up a fresh one off ebay..

Tore the LH front wheel off, and after getting into the beast it became real obvious that the bearing was rougher than 20 miles of death valley fire trail.

Then it became very obvious that some idiot had been there before and left me a mess to clean up...

The 3 bolts that hold the bearing hub into the knuckle had the heads all rounded over and were a real pain to remove.

I ran to the local Chevy house and got 3 new bolts and took care of doing things right.

These bolts are special and the heads do not have clean sharp heads for a 12 point socket to grab..

Using a 6 point impact socket is the only good way to get hold of these guys without ruining the heads.
All back together and the widdle Avy is sooooooo much quieter and smoother.

One thing though, not long ago the brake pads were replaced  so that's a good thing...

Also the Stabilitrac light came on a few times and once when I bumped the curb with the LF tire .Hmmmmm...

There was metal showing on the hall affect wheel sensor ( From the failing bearing) and this would explain the issues..

    All "MORE GOODER" now
