I am trying to lay off the napping. I am being told that they aren't healthy and contribute to my bad dreams and waking up in the middle of the night. hard to skip a nap after I come home from swimming 60-90 min. I feel legitimately tired after that workout. I take 5 meds that each have a warning on them that they may make me drowsy. Guess I shouldn't complain.
:BrianK: I'm only 71 yr. old

Just about all BP meds carry that warning right after the relaxed willy warning and that is just before the dizzy warning.

and for that and pain, I have to use a cane. Should I stand up, or turn, my head will spin, then over I may go should I not have three point support. For that, I have to keep my cell phone with me if I am to have hopes of getting back on my feet. took 3 weeks for the last bruising to fade.

Sorry to hear that. I think I recall you are on an blood thinning RX. That sets you up for the worse should you have a cut, contusion etc. I was in an auto accident when I was on coumadin. My chin hit the steering wheel. My lip swelled so bad it hung below my chin. My knees looked like I had been hit with a bat.

$140 back on the card. Wife sent her brother as she is way under the weather with bronchitis. He said once the manager heard my name she got nasty. He dialed the warranty/manufacturer and gave her the phone and boom money went back on the card. Manager told him that there is a one year warranty on the new pump, he said that's alright I don't think he will be back, he will grab one from HD.

you are right, the ASA 81mg won't do that bruising. I can't drink coffee after lunch or I won't be able to close my eyes at bedtime.

Larry, I went down hard onto boulders, I was lucky that I was able to stop before getting into the blackberry brambles at the bottom of the embankment. I haven't cleaned the cat's box since.

Aside from having high bp, without the meds how are you guys? Seems the cure is worse than the disease?

The rot has been repaired and trusses ordered, ouch :emptywallet:
Weather has turned and lit the first fire last night. Trying out the new pellets I fetched the other week, $200 ton. They gave 2 bags for free to try and I bought 3 more to make a reasonable test.

    I feel your pain..
After my stroke (and all the meds...that I finally tossed)

My left ankle has zero muscle control due to a back injury many many years ago, and if I get a side loading on it (Step on something that is not flat or maybe in a hole My ankle folds over.

The only way to prevent ripping the tendons again and again is to go down in a CONTROLLED CRASH :bug:

Bruises are just some of the hazards of crashing for sure..

    Hell to get old...

Well you have a choice keep the BP under control or your ticker, brain, or blood vessels will go rouge on you big time. Best you start early as the older you are the harder it is to get it under control. That means weight and various consumption must be controlled. No drinking, no smoking, etc. etc. .

    Earl....nice stack of pellets....

I just spoke to the nut plant manager yesterday and we will be able start getting shells around November 1

Each year is different depending on crop size and how much product is being sent overseas in the shell.

We will jump on it just as soon as we can.

    Lots of barrels to fill.

Wife and I have seen how my mother has gone down hill. We’re working hard on weight loss. I may see 200 in a week or two on the scale. Haven’t seen that since 2006.
